وبما أن القيمة ذات طبيعةٍ ذاتية، فإن الادخار – أو "الاكتناز" كما يسميه منتقدو البيتكوين – ليس فعلًا أنانيًا أو معيبًا، بل هو إشارة اقتصادية صريحة. فعندما يعزف حاملو البيتكوين عن الإنفاق، فهم بذلك يعلنون ضمنيًا أن ما يُنتَج في الاقتصاد القائم على النقود الورقية لا يستحق التفريط في أصل نادر غير قابل للتضخم. ذلك أن النقود الورقية، والتي تُخلق بتكلفة شبه معدومة، تُشوّه الأسعار، وتُغري بالإسراف، وتُكافئ الرداءة، وتُعاقب الجودة. في ظل مقياسٍ نقديّ يتآكل باستمرار، يصبح من الصعب تسعير القيمة الحقيقية، ويميل السوق إلى المنتجات الزائفة والخدمات السطحية. لذلك، فإن الادخار بالبيتكوين هو موقف عقلاني ضد منظومة مشوّهة.

إلا أن هذه المعضلة ليست دائمة. فمع مرور الوقت، يُراكم المدخرون من حملة البيتكوين ثروةً حقيقية غير قابلة للتضخم. هؤلاء المدخرون ليسوا سلبيين، بل يتحولون تدريجيًا إلى طبقة استثمارية جديدة، تموّلها مدخرات حقيقية لا ديون. وعندما تحين اللحظة المناسبة، يُعاد توجيه رأس المال نحو مشاريع تجسّد نفس القيم التي جذبتهم للبيتكوين منذ البداية: النزاهة، الصدق، الاستدامة، والانفتاح. والنتيجة تكون ولادة اقتصادٍ بيتكويني ناشئ، تُسعّر فيه السلع والخدمات بالساتوشي، لا لأن البائعين قبلوا بها قسرًا، بل لأنها تستحق هذا المال فعلاً.
هذا التطور يُعيد ترتيب المراحل الطبيعية. المنتقدون يطالبون بأن تثبت البيتكوين جدارتها كشبكة مدفوعات أولًا، لكن الحقيقة أن المدفوعات هي الطبقة الأخيرة، لا الأولى. البداية تكون بالادخار، يتبعه تراكم رأس المال، ثم بناء البنية التحتية، وبعد ذلك تنجذب عمليات الاستهلاك نحو المسار الجديد. هذا هو المسار الذي سلكه الذهب على مدى قرون، بينما يضغط البيتكوين المدة الزمنية، فتُسرّع هذه الدورة لأن التسوية الرقمية تقلل من الحواجز.
ومع انخراط البناة الممولين بالبيتكوين في العمل، تظهر جزرٌ جديدة من النشاط الاقتصادي، حيث تكون الأسعار حقيقية، والعقود تُحترم بالسمعة أو الكود، والمنتجات تُصمم لتدوم، لا لتُظهر أرباحًا في التقارير الفصلية. في مثل هذا السياق، لا يكون إنفاق البيتكوين تضحـية، بل تبادلًا عادلًا. يعلم المشاركون أن ما يحصلون عليه مقابل الساتوشيات هو بنفس الندرة والصدق الذي يُميّز هذا الأصل النقدي.
وعليه، فإن السؤال الحقيقي ليس: "هل يجب أن أستخدم البيتكوين كمخزن للقيمة أم كوسيط للتبادل؟"، بل هو: "هل السوق المحيط قد بلغ من النضج ما يجعله يستحق أن يُسعّر بالبيتكوين؟" حين تتحقق هذه الشروط، سينطلق التبادل تلقائيًا. وإن لم تتحقق، فإن الادخار يبقى هو التصرف الأكثر إنتاجية، لأنه يمنع ضخ رأس المال في مشاريعٍ تُعيد إنتاج الانحرافات الفياتية ذاتها.
في نهاية المطاف، يعيد البيتكوين صياغة الحوافز من الجذور. يبدأ الأفراد بتحمّل مسؤولية قراراتهم المستقبلية، وتُعيد الشركات تعريف أولوياتها نحو المرونة بدلًا من المديونية، ويتحول النسيج الثقافي نحو الإتقان والصدق. هذا التحول لا يمكن فرضه بقرارات فوقية، ولا تعجيله عبر حملات تسويقية تدعو إلى "إنفاق البيتكوين". إنه عملية عضوية، تتبلور كلما قرر فردٌ بيتكويني أن مشروعًا معينًا أو منتجًا أو مجتمعًا معينًا يستحق التفريط بجزءٍ من هذا الأصل الثمين.
وحتى تكتمل هذه المنظومة، فإن أنبل ما يمكن لحامل البيتكوين أن يفعله هو ما يسخر منه العالم الخارجي: الاستمرار في التكديس، تطوير المهارات، والترقب الحكيم للفرص التي تستحق أن يُضَخ فيها رأس المال. تلك المشاريع لن تكتفي بقبول البيتكوين، بل ستكون على مستوى من الجودة والقيم يجعلها جديرة به. وعندها، لن يكون إنفاق البيتكوين وكأنه فقدانٌ للمستقبل، بل استثمارٌ في اقتصاد موازٍ، يُقاس فيه النجاح لا بوحدات نقدية تُطبع بالأمر، بل بقيمةٍ حقيقية، تُتداول برضى الطرفين.

قد نكون اليوم في بداية تحوّل عميق، من اقتصاد يقوم على الاستهلاك السريع والتفاهة والإنفاق القهري، إلى اقتصاد جديد يولد من رحم الوعي الفردي، يعتمد على المال السليم والإبداع الحقيقي. الاقتصاد الحالي، المدفوع بأموال فيات لا قيمة لها على المدى الطويل، يشجّعنا على إنفاق ما نملك قبل أن يفقد قيمته، ويدفعنا نحو اقتناء أشياء لا نحتاجها، وملاحقة وهم النجاح السريع. هو اقتصاد يحرّض على السرعة والتبذير، حيث القيمة تقاس بالحركة لا بالجوهر، وحيث يُكافأ من ينتج القمامة السريعة لا من يزرع المعنى.
لكن شيئًا بدأ يتغيّر. بظهور أدوات مثل البتكوين، والذكاء الاصطناعي المفتوح، والبروتوكولات اللامركزية مثل نوستر، أصبح بإمكان الفرد أن يستعيد فعاليته، أن يمتلك قراره وماله وصوته. لم يعد مجبرًا أن يكون تابعًا في نظام لا يرحم، بل يمكنه أن يكون منتجًا، مستقلاً، يستخدم أدوات تضاعف أثره بدل أن تستهلكه. نحن نمرّ من اقتصاد يحرّض على الاستهلاك، إلى اقتصاد يُكافئ الفعالية. من نظام يزرع الخوف من المستقبل، إلى نظام يُبنى على الثقة في القيمة والحقيقة.
المال السليم مثل البتكوين لا يعاقبك على الادخار، ولا يسرق وقتك عبر التضخّم. إنه يحترم جهدك، ويعطيك أرضية ثابتة للتفكير الطويل الأمد، للبناء، للإبداع المُطبّق لا النظري. هذا التحوّل لا يُقاس بالضجيج، بل بالعمق. لا تصنعه الحكومات، بل تصنعه قرارات الأفراد الذين اختاروا أن يبنوا خارج النظام. إنه انتقال من الفوضى المدارة إلى النظام الطبيعي. من الوهم إلى الحقيقة. من العبودية الناعمة إلى السيادة الفردية.

I watched the Jordon Peterson VS Michael Saylor podcast, and I want to mention a couple of things I found interesting.
Jordon was able to get a bit of psychological background on Saylor like no one else has done, and I could tell when he realised he was making it too obvious, bordering on saying, "Now, tell me about your mother".
At those moments, instead of pausing to let Saylor answer, he realised it was too much psychoanalysis, and he would continue the question without pausing, merging into his own general analysis about people, sort of back peddling the question by having a conversation - I see what you're doing Jordon, LOL.
Another thing I noticed was the power struggle. We all know Michael likes to dominate and set the agenda of what he will be talking about and at what point the conversation would shift, despite him being the guest, not host.
Jordon was quite good at reigning him in, and interrupting by pretending to be super interested in something else, and Saylor fell for it. It got subtly awkward at times, but Jordon handled it well.
The ending was handled nicely, I won't spoil it.

I'm just going to leave this quote here. This is a transcript from a podcast I listen to. They were talking about something that Facebook was discovered doing recently Facebook knew they fucked up and as soon as this got called out by researchers they immediately turned it off. I know most people here probably don't use Facebook and if you still do, here's a highly good reason not to because you're literally just a product to these people and they will do any underhanded thing to track you and sell your behavior to the highest bidder. Here's how the tracking thing worked, And in case it wasn't clear, this bypass is any user-expressed forms of privacy. :
"1. In their normal course of use, the user opens their native Facebook or Instagram app on
their device. The app is eventually switched away from, is sent to the background, and
creates a background service to listen for incoming traffic on a TCP port (12387 or 12388)
and a UDP port (the first unoccupied port in the range 12580-12585). Users must be
logged-in with their credentials on the apps.
2. The user opens their web browser and visits any one of 5.8 million websites integrating the
Meta Pixel.
3. Websites may ask for consent depending on the website's and visitor's locations.
4. The Meta Pixel script sends the _fbp cookie to the native Instagram or Facebook app using
WebRTC protocol.
5. The Meta Pixel script simultaneously sends the _fbp value in a request to
https://www dot facebook dot com/tr (gee, do you think “tr” might be short for “track”?). The URL’s
query tail contains other parameters such as page URL (dl), website and browser metadata,
and the event type (ev) (e.g., PageView, AddToCart, Donate, Purchase).
6. The Facebook or Instagram apps receive the _fbp cookie from the Meta Pixel JavaScript
running on the browser. The apps transmit _fbp to https://graph dot facebook dot com/graphql
along with other persistent user identifiers, linking users' fbp ID (web visit) with their
Facebook or Instagram account
According to Meta’s Cookies Policy, the _fbp cookie “identifies browsers for the purposes of
providing advertising and site analytics services and has a lifespan of 90 days.” The cookie is
present on approximately 25% of the top million websites, making it the 3rd most common
first-party cookie of the web, according to Web Almanac 2024.
A first-party cookie implies that it cannot be used to track users across websites, as it is set
under the website’s domain. That means the same user has different _fbp cookies on different
websites. However, the method we disclose allows the linking of the different _fbp cookies to
the same user, which bypasses existing protections and runs counter to user expectations.
So just to be clear, this entire surreptitious surveillance system was specifically designed to
explicitly and deliberately bypass not only all user-expressible anti-tracking wishes, but also to
circumvent all of the work the browser vendors have invested in to limit cross-site tracking. This
neatly circumvents all of the explicit 1st-party domain-tied cookie isolation and stovepiping that
our web browsers have added specifically to prevent the abuse of the original cookie system.
Let me be very clear about this: There can be no other reason for this. Based upon the behavior
of this system which these researchers have observed, there can be no other reason for this. It
is entirely indefensible."

Well, knots being a forked node implementation I've never heard anyone running it to use the wallet. Is Luke doing something cool with the wallet?
And the main draw for wasabi is access to their coinjoin implementation. But you don't need that for a cold wallet.
Sparrow is the most featured desktop Bitcoin wallet. It has good interface with different hardware signers and the dev is the extremely focused on practical new functionality.
