I agree it's clunky to add a new set because you have to create the thing, name it, add relays etc.
The experience of browsing relays could be much simpler if you could just add them to your list with a single click.
Maybe in the background you create a set that is that single relay and that's it.
You don't even have to to keep the set editor. If someone wants to mix different relays into the same set they can do that on https://listr.lol/, for example.

We should all have a plan to transfer your ₿itcoin when our time has expired. While I see some flaws in this plan, at least he has one.
Things to remember….under current US tax law, your cost basis nolonger matters when you die. Your ₿itcoin, land, stock, house, (whatever you own) gets a “step-up” to market value at date of death. What does this mean? If die tomorrow and ₿itcoin value is $ 110,000. If I own one bitcoin, it now has a cost basis of $110,000. If my spouse sells it, there is no income tax on the transaction. If she doesn’t , from that point forward she would have an income tax on any proceeds she receives over $110,000. The same goes for stocks, real estate….you name it. It doesn’t matter if I paid $ .50 for my bitcoin. The basis steps up to current value at date of death. It will be important to document that value.
If it’s in the Will, it will most likely be subject to probate. Probate essentially means to look to the Will for instructions and authority.” Also if there is a probate, the Will becomes public record at the local courthouse.
For the safety of your family’s, please don’t put Bitcoin information and instructions in your Will.

I've deleted my Twitter account. Some days after my username was made available for anyone to grab (contrary to what used to happen traditionally). Some unfunny imbecile grabbed it and is now running free there making retarded posts while still trying to put out a facade of legitimacy. This is all fine, I don't mind, it's ok.
What really bothers me is that all the old tweets from people who had mentioned "@fiatjaf" in all past discussions now link to this new fake profile. How can they not index the mentions by any form of unique account id, but only by username? And then they allow people to freely change usernames and cause all links to break -- and someone else takes the old username and now all the links point to the wrong place.

I just realized how awfully broken is the UX of discovering a new podcast:
- first no one can share links to podcast episodes, or even to full podcast "profiles", only links to proprietary platforms
- then you have to go on your podcast client and search for it on a search box that looks up on a hardcoded centralized registry and hope for the best
- then if you find what you need you have to wait at least 5 seconds, possibly more, for all the XML to be downloaded and parsed and the feed to be shown to you
- but then you can't just download one episode from the feed and listen to it, you have to subscribe to the entire podcast
All because the thing only deals with this big XML file, each episode has no independent existence or a standardized universal reference to it, and it's unvariably tied to a specific server with a specific DNS domain that in 99.9% of the cases is not owned by the person publishing the episodes.

The beautiful solution would be to add AUTH support and then accept these events after the client automatically authenticates.
I'm not sure how you would do that, I think instead of forwarding the websocket messages to strfry you could just call "strfry import" and it would accept anything.

That argument applies to any paywall on the internet today, and yet they work reasonably well in most cases.
Even super encrypted private messages can be leaked and screenshots exist, that doesn't mean we should just give up and write everything in public.
Pirated music and movies can be easily found on the internet by anyone, and yet people continue to pay for these things.
In the case of Nostr, NIP-70 together with the conscience of the reader prevent the content from being easily leaked, but nothing is guaranteed, of course.

I was a caricature artist at Disney world for several years before I started working for the post office. One of my old friends from my Disney caricature days is working in Seoul somewhere.
