Uma multidão acompanhou o enterro de Alex Gabriel Santos na tarde deste domingo (8), em Pontal (SP). O corpo do adolescente, de 16 anos, foi encontrado no sábado (7) pelos bombeiros durante buscas no Rio Pardo.
Segundo a Polícia Civil, a principal suspeita é a de que Alex tenha sido morto em retaliação após pegar um celular em um depósito de bebidas vizinho à casa dele. Até o momento, a polícia descarta que o jovem tenha furtado ou roubado o aparelho.
Neste domingo, o corpo chegou a Pontal por volta das 14h, transportado do Instituto Médico Legal (IML) de Araraquara (SP). Não houve velório.
O caixão foi colocado no carro de uma funerária e seguiu em cortejo até a entrada do cemitério. Centenas de pessoas com roupas e balões brancos, em sinal de luto, acompanharam o trajeto e fizeram uma manifestação para pedir justiça.

Os manifestantes querem que as investigações sejam aprofundadas e que os responsáveis pelo crime sejam punidos.
Até o momento, quatro homens foram presos temporariamente por determinação da Justiça. Os suspeitos são João Guilherme Moreira, de 27 anos, apontado como o dono do celular, Uanderson dos Santos Dias, de 19 anos, Alex Sander Benedito Ferreira, de 23 anos, Jean Carlos Nadoly, de 28 anos.
As defesas deles não foram localizadas para comentar o assunto.
Durante o enterro, moradores de Pontal e familiares do garoto também pediram a prisão de uma mulher que presenciou o crime. De acordo com os familiares, ela é a funcionária do depósito de bebidas que levou o dono do celular à casa da vítima.
Em nota, a defesa da mulher informou que ela não tinha como prever as agressões e o assassinato do adolescente e que está colaborando com a investigação.
Segundo a polícia, pelo menos por enquanto ela é tratada como testemunha.
