O cantor Xand Avião se apresentou no Parque do Povo, em Campina Grande, na noite deste sábado (7). O figurino, junino e representativo, foi feito por um artesão da Rainha da Borborema, Roosevelt Fernandes. O gibão foi entregue por ele ao cantor antes do início do show. Xand fez um registro nas redes sociais para enaltecer a produção.
"Foi um pedido dele, a equipe entrou em contato com a gente para gente desenvolver duas peças, que foi o gibão e teve também uma camisa que ele se apresentou em Mossoró", conta o artesão.
De acordo com Roosevelt, o gibão e a camisa entregues ao cantor foram feitos com couro de bode e couro de boi, em um tempo recorde de 16 dias.

Há cerca de 15 anos trabalhando com artesanato, na Vila do Artesão, em Campina Grande, Roosevelt conta que já vestiu outros artistas, como Ivete Sangalo, Santanna, o Cantador, Juliette, Raí Saia Rodada, Capilé, entre muitos outros. Ele revelou que também produziu algumas peças para a novela Guerreiros do Sol, que estreia dia 11 de junho, no Globoplay.
"É o enaltecimento e o reconhecimento da arte de couro nordestina, e a gente que faz parte, dando a nossa pequena contribuição, deixa a gente muito feliz", declara o artesão Roosevelt Fernando.
Nas redes sociais, Xand Avião já havia adiantado que preparava um figurino exclusivo para cada uma das 34 apresentações da turnê no mês de junho. Para a noite em Campina Grande, ele escolheu o figurino inspirado na sua relação com a cidade e produzido por Roosevelt Fernandes. A proposta reforça o conceito do projeto: um forró com estética contemporânea, sem perder a essência.
