为什么现在很多人都以「抽象、自我贬低」等方式来表达乐观幽默？
这是一种「防御性悲观（defensive pessimism）」策略。
防御性悲观指的是人们在面对压力时，故意设定较低的期望，以此来管理自己的焦虑情绪，并将其转化为动力，从而避免因焦虑而影响表现。[1]
它允许人们利用焦虑为动力，而不是被焦虑所困扰。
这种情况下的幽默叫做自嘲式幽默，这种幽默可以同时激活人们大脑的奖赏系统和威胁监测系统[2]，相当于给快乐上了双保险。
这就相当于，当你预感到自己要遭受批评和挑战的时候，别的人都在高度紧张的整装备战，满脑子逻辑推演，想着如何应对如何反击，压力感拉满。
可到了你这里，你直接祭出一句「我是傻X」，瞬间终结所有辩论。
这种自我矮化的降维打击，直接把外界的评判剿灭在萌芽状态。
等真有人气势汹汹的杀过来的时候，发现你的阵地早就被你自己的毒舌炮火犁过八百遍了。
那些发着「又穷又丑又单身」配自拍照的人，与魏晋时期披头散发吃丹药的魏晋狂士，和古希腊斯多葛学派的「消极想象」干的是同一件事情，都是在用反向操作争夺自己的情绪定义权。
而我们的社交媒体又把执行这套防御策略的人们聚拢起来，大家一起集体玩梗。
当大家一起「寄了寄了」的时候，抑郁情绪反而被稀释了，这个现象在心理学中叫做「共同反刍（co-rumination）」[3]。
因而你完全可以把集体疯癫、自我贬低，当成一场我们面对高度不确定的未来时，不约而同开展的一场群体认知行为治疗。
但是这现象也有个bug，当自嘲成了普遍行为，真实情绪一定会被稀释。
这就像「狼来了」的故事，整天喊着「我裂开」的人，真到崩溃的时候，可能反而没人当真了。
总之，说穿了，当代人的乐观主义，就是在用抽象对抗意义危机，用自嘲缓解存在焦虑，把疯癫当成最后的清醒。
我们越是齐唱「我不行了」，反而能跌跌撞撞的走下去。
当所有人都戴着快乐面具起舞时，或许面具本身就成了新的真实。

Thats useful to know I have some crowns I have planted and are doing well. Seed has been less successful due to unexpected droughts whenever I come to plant it but in the strawberry area under some tree canopy might work regardless.
