Even though I call her Miss Quixotic, the XF is not really THAT impractical or an unrealistic car. It's a decent sized saloon, comfortable (and powerful enough) to drive and not super expensive to buy or maintain - IMO it's one of those cars that sits nicely in the middle of the line where on the one end there are super boring, soulless boxes on wheels and on the other side are truly insane, expensive and impractical cars. The XF is a car that's "normal" enough to be your everyday driver, but at the same time, unique and beautiful enough to be considered a piece of art.

フランスのパリ・イル=ド=フランス（パリ地域圏）への海外からの投資促進を担う「チューズド・パリ・レジオン（Choose Paris Region）」がこのほど来日し、観光を含めた日本からパリ地域圏への投資状況について説明した。
今回の来日は、大阪・関西万博の視察を含め、観光、ビジネス、文化、教育、研究開発など幅広い分野で日本との関係強化を進めるのが目的。関西では、関西広域連合とも意見交換し、今後、経済、イノベーション、持続可能な開発、文化交流、若者交流などで協力を拡大していくことを確認した。
チューズド・パリ・レジオンの主な役割は、海外投資の誘致、観光客の誘致、映像制作の誘致の3点。このうち、観光客の誘致について、チューズド・パリ・レジオン会長でパリ・イル=ド=フランス地域圏議会副議長を務めるのアレクサンドラ・デュブランシュ氏は、2024年の観光客数が前年比2%増の約4870万人、そのうち外国人観光客が同3%増の約2260万人で、その経済効果が約250億ユーロ（約4兆円）になったことを説明。「すでにコロナ前を上回る歴史的な記録になった」と評価した。
また、パリ地域圏全体で、2024年に映像が撮影された日数は延べ7500日にのぼり、現在も324件の制作を支援しているという。撮影によって、バリ地域圏での露出も増えることから、デュブランシュ氏は「制作誘致だけでなく、その映像を契機とした観光客誘致にも力を入れていきたい」考えを示した
