Correct, it has to verify every transaction.
The moment it reads the OP_RETURN byte it sees the transaction as valid and the UTXO unspendable. It doesn’t read the arbitrary data afterwards because it doesn’t need to and can prune the output immediately.
Honestly, I think my node has to do more work verifying a stranger’s multisig spend than some op_return bible verse

Microempreendedores Individuais (MEI) têm até a sexta-feira, 31, para enviar a Declaração Anual do Simples Nacional (DASN-Simei) referente à movimentação de 2024. O procedimento é obrigatório, mesmo para quem não registrou receita no período.
A declaração deve ser preenchida no https://www.gov.br/empresas-e-negocios/pt-br/empreendedor
, informando o CNPJ, o total arrecadado ao longo do ano passado e se houve contratação de funcionários e.
Caso não tenha ocorrido faturamento, inserir o valor de R$ 0,00. A atualização da situação cadastral é essencial para evitar penalidades. O limite de receita bruta para o MEI em 2024 foi de R$ 81 mil, com ajuste proporcional para empresas abertas ao longo do ano.
Declaração do MEI: o que acontece caso o documento não seja enviado?
Se houver atraso, a multa por não enviar a DASN-Simei varia entre R$ 50 e 20% do valor dos tributos devidos, com possibilidade de desconto de 50% para pagamento espontâneo ou à vista. A multa por atraso na Declaração de
Imposto de Renda (DIRPF) vai de R$ 165,74 até 20% do imposto devido.
O sistema do Simples Nacional verifica automaticamente se o MEI excedeu o limite anual de R$ 81 mil (ou R$ 251,6 mil, no caso do MEI caminhoneiro). Se o faturamento ultrapassar até 20%, o sistema gera uma guia extra. Acima disso, o empreendedor deve mudar de categoria e se desenquadrar do regime MEI.
Correções podem ser feitas por meio da declaração retificadora, também disponível no portal oficial. Recomenda-se guardar o comprovante da retificação para registro próprio e segurança do processo.
