I’ve tried Nostur, still getting used to it. Also heard some chatter about Yakihonne—curious to try it out.

If you try to turn profits in the incubation stage, you inevitably strangle growth and quality suffers.
That's why grants have turned out to be such a problematic model: people usually view them as personal income and spend them on rent and food, rather than seeing them as investment income in a business they are building, that should be reinvested in making that business grow. That's why they slow or stop working, when the grants run out, or they jump to some other project, to collect grant monies for that. They haven't bothered building something that *generates income*, so their economic incentive to continue the effort evaporates.
And that's why they only write code, rather than build infrastructure and processes: you can just drop code and walk away, with no bills, no staff, no contracts, and no further expectations of services delivered.
Slam, bam, thank you ma'am, but make it FOSS.

Same as with architecture/design and devops because those three things consume the vast majority of development costs.
Coding is cheap, in comparison, but it's the only part you can't completely skip and still have software.

So, they cut out architecture, automation, monitoring, testing, and maintenance, and vibe code some ish and then do a victory round and collect the Bitcoins from some useful idiots who haven't figured out that vibe coding has no monetary value because it isn't work.
We actually have one of the biggest budgets, despite hardly any income. Easily pushing over $100k in engineering hours, so far. Building something solid takes time and costs a lot of money. It just does.

TBH, it's hard to hype it up when it's still a big construction zone. We're all waving our hands saying "you should see the architectural plans, they're great!" but all people see is a forest of timber and mounds of dirt.
Like you, we all have 9-5 jobs, so this is our slow-and-steady hobby project.

Yes and no. You can have more than one wallet used for SENDING zaps, because that is set up separately for each client you use. However, you can only have one wallet at a time for RECEIV8NG, because that is set up in your profile, so anyone can zap you, regardless of which client you are using.

🫂 We're trying to get to the beta release ASAP, and then we're finally going to do the bug hunt.
Everything is taking longer than we thought, but we have a new increment this weekend, so it's at least bumping along.

Antony kijkt terug op debacle in Manchester: 'Dagen zonder eten en opgesloten in mijn kamer'
Antony zoekt bij Manchester United een voetbaldroom, maar belandt in een nachtmerrie. Real Betis biedt hem afgelopen winter een uitweg en in Spanje hervindt de Braziliaan het geluk binnen én buiten de lijnen.
Vanavond hoopt Antony (25) het vertrouwen van de Spaanse club terug te betalen tijdens de finale van de Conference League tegen Chelsea. Het toernooi waarin de aanvaller fraaie statistieken kan overleggen.
Leidt de opleving van de Braziliaanse vleugelflitser tot de eerste Europese prijs voor Real Betis in de clubhistorie?
Hoge verwachtingen
De verwachtingen zijn torenhoog als Antony in de zomer van 2022 de overstap maakt van Ajax naar Manchester United. Niet in de laatste plaats door de enorme transfersom die de Amsterdammers ontvangen: 95 miljoen euro.
Antony moet een belangrijke pion worden in het elftal van toenmalig trainer Erik ten Hag, die de taak heeft om Manchester United terug te brengen naar de Engelse en Europese top. De Nederlander kent Antony als geen ander, want bij Ajax werken ze twee seizoenen succesvol samen.
Na een veelbelovend begin - met een doelpunt tegen Arsenal - begint Antony meer en meer te worstelen. Op het veld, maar ook daarbuiten. Zijn ex-vriendin klaagt de Braziliaan aan wegens huiselijk geweld, iets waar hij uiteindelijk van wordt vrijgesproken.
Lange tijd krijgt Antony het vertrouwen van Ten Hag, maar naarmate de tijd vordert, komt de Braziliaan vaker op de bank terecht. De onvrede bij de eigen aanhang neemt toe, want het rendement blijft achter bij de verwachtingen. In 96 wedstrijden komt hij maar tot 12 doelpunten.
In gesprek met TNT Sports Brazil laat de vleugelaanvaller met tranen in de ogen weten hoe diep hij zat in Manchester.
"Ik had niet zo'n verlangen om te voetballen. Ik zei tegen mijn broer dat ik het niet meer aankon. Het enige wat ik wilde, was thuis zijn. Ik had niet eens de kracht om met mijn zoon te spelen. Ik bracht dagen door zonder te eten en zat opgesloten op mijn kamer."
Nadat Ten Hag wordt ontslagen, komt Rúben Amorim aan het roer bij Manchester United. Ook de Portugees krijgt Antony niet aan de praat. Daarom besluiten alle partijen dat het beter is dat Antony wordt verhuurd in de winter.
Opleving
En dan komt Real Betis om de hoek kijken. De Spanjaarden zoeken een vleugelaanvaller en denken dat Antony in Zuid-Europa weer tot leven kan komen. Dat blijkt een juiste inschatting. De Braziliaan voelt zich direct op zijn gemak en komt al snel in de basis terecht.
Antony beloont het vertrouwen van trainer Manuel Pellegrini. De aanvaller haalt in 25 wedstrijden cijfers die hij bij Manchester United in 96 duels weet te halen. Als speler van Real Betis geeft hij evenveel assists (5) en scoort hij slechts drie keer minder (9 om 12). Maar bij Manchester United heeft hij er bijna vier keer zoveel wedstrijden voor nodig.
Ook in de Conference League is Antony van groot belang voor Real Betis. Met vier doelpunten en drie assists in acht wedstrijden heeft hij een groot aandeel in de campagne die al tot de finale leidde. Maar er zijn meer cijfers die de goede vorm van Antony laten zien.
De Braziliaan is in het half jaar dat hij uitkomt in de Conference League de speler met de meeste schoten (24) en tevens is hij de man met de meeste dribbels (33) in het huidige kalenderjaar.
Na dit seizoen keert Antony terug naar Manchester United waar hij nog een contract heeft tot en met 2027. Het is nog maar de vraag of hij ook weer gaat spelen voor de club.
Naar verluidt heeft de Braziliaan met zijn goede spel bij Real Betis de interesse gewekt van Atlético Madrid. Maar ook Betis wil met hem verder.
