Nice to see more people digging into this. Bitcoin has never guaranteed censorship resistance, at least, not 100%. Miners always pick what to include, usually based on fees, but also on what they think matters. If spam is deprioritized, it takes longer or costs more to get through, making room for the high value tx, that end up paying miners more (long-term). That makes bitcoin more sustainable in the long-run.

Nostur doesn't use the "outbox/inbox" terminology. Instead, you just configure which relays you are using to read from, write to, and search from. Then you "announce" which relays you want others to see that you are reading from and writing to. Announcing just creates a new kind 10002 (replacing your old one) that others can find, listing your read and write relays. Read = inbox, write = outbox.

推荐匿名点对点加密去中心化聊天工具WireMin
端到端加密的去中心化聊天工具我试用过几种，各有优劣，每个人可能会有不同选择。目前我个人最喜欢用的是wireMin，在这里简单介绍一下：
1. 采取类似BT下载的点对点传输，没有任何中间服务器，不收集任何用户数据，信息加密后存储在参与的设备之间。具体技术可以看官网介绍：https://wiremin.org/#/FAQ
2. 完全匿名，注册既不用手机也不用邮箱，注册时随机分配一串hash码作为用户的身份辨识记号，用户只要填自己想要的昵称和密码就行，没有比这更简单的了。昵称可以随时改，想建多少小号都可以，随时建随时删都可以。
3. 不用翻墙，也很难被墙。外区苹果app store和google play里可以直接下载，电脑端支持Windows、macOS和Linux各系统。没有google play可以用apk安装包，官网下载地址：https://wiremin.org/#/ 。
4. 在一对一聊天和最多10个人的私密群中，可以传输不限大小的文件。
5. 可建不限人数的群，可以是公开的，也可以是私密的凭邀请加入，都不显示群成员列表。无论群主还是群众，没有人能看到群里有谁，有几个人，就像聊天室。在这种群里视频传输的大小目前上限3.2M，传图片在手机上似乎没有上限。要公开分享文件还有一种方式见下一条。
6. 还可以建个人空间，类似于朋友圈或个人频道，也可以选择公开或私密的凭邀请关注。这里发布文件最大128M。这个空间发布的东西不是永久的！可以设置最少1小时后、最长1年后消失。
7. 似乎想建多少群，多少个人空间都可以。
8. 有一个广场，可以发现各种公开的群和个人空间（目前公开的比较少，多数人选择私密），可以随意加入或关注。可以去官方群提问和提建议，到广场上就能找到。也可以来我建的公开群测试。
9. 每一个使用wireMin的设备都是一个中继，下载信息的同时也中转信息给其他人，也就是说去中心化去到每一个个人设备。其他的通讯app或者有中心服务器，或者有分布式的服务器，数据存储在这些服务器上，而wireMin没有服务器，数据分布存储在每个个人设备上。按官网说的，wireMin完全不知道任何用户信息，不存在任何中间方，即使wireMin的开发者灭亡了，只要有一定用户，wireMin也可以自生自灭下去。也因此这个app会永远免费，永远无广告，永远无审查。
10. 如果你没法下载文件或收不到消息，那是因为你的对话方没在线或者你俩之间连接问题。一般来说，文字消息不需要双方都在线，但双方都在线是最好的。传输下载文件，在私密对话中，需要双方都在线，在群里，需要至少有一个缓存了文件的人在线。每次上线一开始也许没有信息，正常情况下等几秒到几十秒钟后会收到。当大家都在线时滞后情况不明显，群里在线设备越多速度越快越稳定。同一个账号的各个设备之间可以同步，发出的信息在5分钟内可以撤销。
11. 对垃圾消息有防护措施。WireMin发送每条消息前需要进行一定量的哈希运算作为“工作量证明”，攻击者难以进行消息轰炸。我已经使用了3个月，从未收到任何垃圾信息。
12. 目前没有中文版不过官方在招人翻译。这个app很新用户还不多，官方说用了很多新技术，还在持续密集开发测试中，所以现在功能不全也会有不少bug。不过日常沟通已经够用。目前也不开源，官方说等有一个稳定版本后会公布代码。
13. 目前很多人感觉比较不方便的是，如果不在线，就没有消息提示。和通常的通讯工具相反，你得先上线才能收到消息，提示也只有在线的情况下才会有。如果需要即时联络，可能需要先用其他工具约好时间。
14. 如果超过48小时不上线，48小时前的消息就收不到了。
15. 首次登录后要记得到Settings - Privacy and Security - Backup Mnemonic里去把助记词备份下来。用这个可以在你不记得密码的时候恢复账号，也可以在登录陌生设备时用作身份认证。
16. 所有数据和文件都会存在本地wireMin文件夹里，要记得定期清理。可以到settings - Under the Hood - Clear Cache，可以到Settings - Files里清理媒体文件，也可以在手机本地资源管理器里找到名为wireMin的文件夹。
17. 最近上线集成了lightning wallet的虚拟币支付方式。可以从wiremin和Nostr互通。也可以直接在wireMin免翻墙免注册使用chatGPT。
总之，我个人的试用体验很不错，相对其他类似工具更稳定易用，基本不卡，完全没有垃圾，功能也相对较多。而且目前不用翻墙就能下载，比较适合在墙内推广，推荐大家尝试。官网下载地址：https://wiremin.org/#/ 。
补充一点，有些人对这个app的开发者背景有疑虑，的确，网上除了能查到一个名字，查不到更多的背景资料，官网的介绍只说他们是一个来自世界各地的团队。和客服打交道过程中发现几点，一可以肯定母语非英语，二他们对匿名性非常看重，三这个团队很穷。再加上这个app现在一共只有两种语言，除了英语就是俄语，我个人推测主创人员来自俄罗斯（Telegram和Z-library的开发者也都来自俄罗斯）。他们自己的营销目前一方面主打匿名性，另一方面强推虚拟币支付，后者也离不开对匿名性的需求。暂时我认为，wireMin团队和对安全性有顾虑的人是在一条船上。
再补充，有一些语言习惯上的证据指向团队可能是/其中有中国人。在没有更多证据以前我暂时的观点是，即使是中国人也不一定说明什么，他们可能只是和我一样有匿名和逃避审查的需求。但在他们的服务条款中，还有一条需要注意的。这个条款说你同意在wireMin指定的国家或州的法院解决任何和他们发生的纠纷和诉讼，你同意接受该国/州的法院的管辖。wireMin并没有说明他们选择什么国家。我个人目前仍会继续使用，对于只是不想被审查的目的来说我觉得可以用，但以上情况必须告知有更多顾虑的人。

First, that's not going to be for quite some time. The last sats won't be mined for over 100 years.
That said, it is hard to imagine the value of the new Bitcoin mined being enough to justify a lot more hashrate coming online over time. Then again, folks in the early days probably never would have imagined 3.125 Bitcoin would be worth almost $350k, either.
For the entirety of Bitcoin's history so far, even though the subsidy has been chopped in half every 4 years, it has ended up being worth more than the previous total subsidy. Diminishing returns suggests that this might not always be the case, but that's why there are transaction fees.
The assumption, and I think it is a fair one, is that block-space will be scarce, with high demand for it in the future due to growing adoption. Yes. A lot of transacting will move off-chain. It has to if we want that many people to be able to use Bitcoin. However, there will still be a portion of transactions that must settle to the chain, and I would wager it will be more than enough to sustain miners.

Without proof of liability, proof of reserve is just feel-good virtue signaling. Dismissing the potential known and unknown downsides of making all the addresses public is shortsighted imo. The only people complaining about this are the same people that tell others not to invest and to only buy Bitcoin and hold in self-custody. He even tells people to just buy Bitcoin and self-custody. The people complaining about this non-issue should follow his advice. Everyone else who is already trusting the team at Strategy to execute has no issues trusting various auditors to verify the assets and liabilities are what the company says they are.
Despite what OPs think, Saylor doesn’t want to share a cell with SBF.

I don't, and won't, own his stock for moral reaons (mostly because I don't want to give blackrock money for them to buy bitcoin), but he's right on his arguments against proof of reserves. It's bad for security (on the technical side) and it doesn't prove liabilities. But for me it's just not your keys, not your coins.

It is impossible to accurately determine the number of Russian and Ukrainian casualties in the war, as this information is a state secret — something that can be used either to boost or undermine troop morale.
However, from time to time, someone or some Russian department releases bits of information that allow us to get an approximate view of these figures. For example, at the beginning of 2024, a department within Russia’s Ministry of Defense accidentally disclosed that 75,000 Russian soldiers were “missing in action” — information that was quickly deleted from the website, but not before it was seen and captured.
Now, another clue has emerged: Russia’s Ministry of Labor has ordered the issuance of 300,000 certificates of permanent termination of employment for men who were registered in the “special military operation,” the term Russians use to describe the invasion of Ukraine.
These certificates are issued when a worker can “never again” return to their activities, which means they are either dead or have suffered extremely severe, permanently disabling injuries.
These certificates do not include those who are “missing in action.”
