If Strategy is buying Bitcoin with debt and selling to shareholders, it is extremely easy to demonstrate you own that Bitcoin by moving at least 1 Sat.
Yes, you still want a full audit and you rely on old world “trust” for many aspects of a companies accounts.
But Bitcoin is better than an audit, at least for assets, because unlike a bank account or any other asset who’s ownership can be forged. Bitcoin ownership cannot be forged. You either hold the keys or you don’t.

Well, if I am being kind to Mr Saylor, and I am inclined to as I have benefited from trading Strategy shares, I could see that publishing the Strategy Bitcoin wallet addresses might be disadvantageous in the short-term should the company wanted to hedge their positions and/or prevent any front running. That said, Metaplanet seems to be doing a pretty good job emulating Strategy and they don't have a problem publishing their wallet addresses.
