We just implemented domain-based verification badges based upon the NIP-05 tag array in our Alex client, for medScholar, which has it's own relay.
But if a hospital or university, or something gives their people all NIP-05s, they could then arrange with a relay service to get a group-tarif for their domain, right? The hardest part of onboarding people to private relays is going around nagging them to change their relay settings and arrange payments, and stuff. Everyone just lists primal or lol or whatever, and stops.
But a community admin could set it up for the whole community. And then they can offer more "general purpose" relays to the social feed without it filling up with kiddie porn and rape threats and etc. You remember the horrible stuff I was getting in the replies, before starting TheForest.

i am officially a Boomer now !

the problem is it doesn't come with batteries ( or charger ) and i can't afford the genuine batteries for it ( it can take up to two $600 batteries ).
my plan is to get the genuine charger ( which is sensibly priced ) but go for aftermarket batteries which are 1/3 the price.
before ordering the mower i had to come up with some strategy to mitigate the risk of using Turd-Party batteries and the plan i came up with is that i will charge them outside. meaning in the back yard or the driveway - NOT in the garage ! according to my research batteries usually catch fire while charging, sometimes while in use and rarely in storage.
if i charge outside and it catches on fire i only lose battery and charger - no biggie.
if it catches on fire while in use i lose battery and mower - slightly worse outcome, but still no biggie.
if it catches on fire while in storage i lose the house but that is a low probability if you partially discharge the battery before storage and store it at a cool temperature. at least in theory ...
according to my research gas mower would have been a better option but i would have to learn how to maintain it ( change oil, inspect spark plugs, change belts etc. ) and that kind of shit doesn't really appeal to me ...
i am a Jew after all and as you know Jews don't do manual labor - we are too important for that !

Because I use the firewall I can see what IP addresses and don't names that the app connects to. I do not like anything that connects to Google including this.

I'm maybe paranoid, but I don't like anything that Google connects to that I do not want to connect to. Especially googleapis I've tried to do research on this dumb name, and I can't find much information on what it does, but I believe, in my opinion, it somehow collects data and spies on you. I'm not one I'm sure because I'm not a professional IT person I just learn as I go and try to figure out stuff and the internet is so censored you can't really find really good information especially if something is spying on you when the platform that you're using is what it's telling you it is

In the US, we have a general scam related to compensation for government abuse.
IF someone can sue and IF they win, the damages are paid for using taxes stolen from the abused citizens. So you tend to see government abuse people simply because it has nothing to lose. If it goes to court, so what? The People pay regardless. The violators usually are protected from personal liability. Government overreach and abuse has no meaningful downside for government officials. The incentive is to just throw as much spaghetti as possible at the walls and see what sticks. It's a never ending battle for freedom that WE have to pay for.
A scam if there ever was one.
