When Fiat Control Blocks #Bitcoin Access
While #Bitcoin promises open, permissionless access to global value exchange, millions are still locked out, not because of technology, but because they lack access to USD, EUR, or legal #Bitcoin markets.
In countries like North Korea, Iran, Nepal, Bangladesh, Algeria, Morocco, Egypt, and Bolivia, legal restrictions on foreign currency effectively bar citizens from participating in the #Bitcoin economy. Add to that global sanctions or capital controls, and #Bitcoin designed as an escape hatch becomes inaccessible.
These restrictions are often justified as protecting against money laundering or volatility, but in practice, they preserve monetary monopolies and control. Without access to fiat on-ramps like USD or EUR, and with peer-to-peer markets often criminalized, #Bitcoin becomes a tool visible from afar but unreachable to many.
Ironically, the people who need #Bitcoin most those under inflationary regimes or authoritarian rule are the least able to acquire it.
How we can get this peoples onboard.

Yaaaaasss!!!! 🥂 to this! I was running myself into the ground trying to ‘outpace’ inflation with my business, which started to make me feel bad about passing on the high fees to my community that wanted my help.
Now I let the protocol work for me while we #travelslow as a family and pick up easy jobs for our weekly expenses.
Next stop, earning in fiat.
The pressure is off. Life is good.
