#asknostr, is a 2-of-2 multi-sig wallet when 1 of the seeds has been compromised any less secure than a single-sig wallet? I'm pretty sure the answer is 'no', but am I missing something?
Let me elaborate a little more:
Most people will be familiar with a single-sig setup on a mobile wallet that uses an external hardware device to sign transactions. In this setup, the seed is on the hardware wallet, and you would have backup(s) of the seed stamped onto steel, or written on paper; stored in a safe, or whatever you feel works best for you.
I'm wondering if it would make sense to just turn this setup into a 2-of-2 multi-sig simply by adding a 'hot' key seed in the mobile wallet. Then, put copies of this 2nd 'hot' seed anywhere you can to make sure it's virtually impossible to lose. Heck, even store it on the blockchain if you have to (sorry for the arbitrary data 😉). Even if everyone knows the 2nd 'hot' key, it's still no less secure than a single-sig setup. Also, since you really only have to keep track of and guard the other key (which you would have to for single-sig setup anyway), the extra effort is negligible.
It seems to me one of the downsides of storing a backup of a single-sig seed is if someone happens to stumble across that 1 item (for whatever reaseon), they could easily take your funds. At least with this 2-of-2 setup, there's a very good likelihood they wouldn't even be aware that there is a 2nd key involved to even go looking for it.
I hope I've explained my thinking well enough. Again, am I missing something here?
*PLEASE NOTE: I'm well aware of passphrases, and that a conventional 2-of-3 mult-sig, etc. scattered geographically/jurisdictionally would be much better. I'm just curious if my proposed 2-of-2 setup would be at least marginally better (and absolutely no less secure) than a single-sig. I'm trying to come up with an easy noob setup that I feel comfortable recommending for smallish amounts; and, I've never liked the idea of being outright screwed if someone happens to stumble across the backup of your single-sig seed.

Eu acredito que vale a pena para emergências... Tive duas internações na UTI, e nenhuma delas foi por problema de saúde. Nunca conseguiria pagar do meu próprio bolso, e tenho certeza de que estaria morto se tivesse passado pela UTI do SUS, todo parente meu que foi para a UTI do SUS acabou morrendo (3 no total, legal né? E não pode falar mal...)
Um conhecido meu, para escapar da morte, foi direto para o mesmo hospital particular que fiquei e foi mandado para a UTI. Nem mencionou plano de saúde, só disse que iria pagar. Resultado: uma dívida de R$ 290 mil, mas pelo menos ele sobreviveu. Aliás, recomendo a todos fazer isso se um dia precisarem, mas não tem segunda visita depois se precisar novamente, talvez isso invalide a necessidade de um plano de saúde, mas eu não arrisco ficar sem, especialmente com a sorte que tenho.

揭秘哈佛如何走到今天这一步。之前整个校园的状况只能用群魔乱舞来形容。那些中东留学生竟然把旗杆上的美国国旗扯下来，换上哈马斯的旗帜，占领校园，逼得学校停课。如果说川普破坏了侵犯了学术自由，那么哈佛被极左暴力思潮裹挟至停课瘫痪，难道就不是对学术自由的破坏吗？
我并不是完全支持川普对哈佛的做法，其中确实有些矫枉过正的成分。但哈佛走到这一步，完全是咎由自取。因为它自己做了初一，就别怪别人做了十五。看过我之前文章的朋友，应该都知道这些年DEI（多元、公平、包容）在哈佛有多么丧心病狂。
想当年我还在哈佛工作时，这股反常识的极左歪风就已经刮了起来。我印象最深的是，我们办公楼的厕所标志几乎每隔几个星期就要换一次。那是一个单间的男女共用厕所。一开始是大家习以为常的男女标志，后来不断更换，因为永远无法达成共识，究竟要用什么样的标志才能“不排斥、不冒犯”那些男女之外的“许多许多性别”。
直到去年那场支持哈马斯恐怖活动的运动，这股极左歪风达到了顶点。奥巴马的人马在哈佛校董会里鸠占鹊巢，最后他的前商务部长出任校董会主席，随即提拔了一个研究种族议题、只发表过11篇论文且大量抄袭的黑人女教授Gay当校长（这种水平，放在中国的二流大学都评不上正教授）。自此，哈佛进入自由落体式的崩塌。
各种文革式风气令人发指。比如当年Gay校长劣迹斑斑，我知道很多哈佛老师并不喜欢她，但却没有一个人敢出声反对。哈佛在职老师有一万多人（有些是人事档案不在学校的医生，他们也有拥有哈佛教师头衔，所以才会这么多人），除了几个退休教授敢发声，竟然没有一个在职者敢公开反对。更有甚者，还有人发起联名支持Gay校长的运动，逼着老师们表态签名，那场面让我真切地看到了“文革”的缩影。
而且，在2024年大选期间，不少哈佛老师在公开场合及社交媒体上表达支持拜登和卡马拉。可是一万多在职教师里，竟然没有一个人哪怕在社交平台上公开表示支持川普。即便哈佛再怎么偏左，从统计学上说，这也是不可能的。可是为什么没有呢？原因无他，就是寒蝉效应。就像文革时期，即便你对路线有不同意见，你敢说出口吗？
有句名言道：你敢骂的人，都不是独裁者，因为独裁者你是不敢骂的。所以他们天天骂川普是独裁者，这本身就是个不攻自破的谬论。
如今的哈佛，俨然成了“革命小将”的阵地。那些支持哈马斯、导致学校停课的学生，屡教不改，最终受到学校处分，反而激起学生们的愤怒。今年毕业典礼上，哈马斯的旗帜高高飘扬，无数学生高喊支持哈马斯的口号。两位学生代表的演讲甚至脱稿自由发挥，谴责哈佛惩罚那些占领校园的学生。
这还是一所学校吗？在这些学生眼中，学校是否开门根本不重要，支持哈马斯才是最重要的，支持极左DEI才是最重要的。为了支持哈马斯，学校就该停课关门。既然如此，那为什么又说是川普让哈佛无法运作呢？
哈佛不是没有选择。只要放弃已经声名狼藉的DEI（在哈佛是DEIB，还要加上Belonging归属感，这种词的趋势就是字母越加越多，但是讽刺的是，右派学生和犹太学生有归属感吗？），就能恢复联邦科研资金，恢复国际学生的招生。但问题在于，DEI已成为哈佛极左邪教信仰的核心。正因如此，哈佛宁愿玉石俱焚，也不愿回头。那怕走向灭亡。
我在新闻上看到有博士生表示，他们的实验室的领导知道实验室会因为失去资金而关闭，但依然为学校的决定感到骄傲。我自己当年也在哈佛管理过一整个实验室。那时候我天天思考的，就是如何支持我们的研究项目：包括制定科研方向、争取研究经费、招募人才、管理科研计划。DEI从来没有出现在我脑海中过。
科研难道是为了DEI而做的吗？还是DEI是为了科研而存在的？我真的搞不懂现在这些学者脑子里都在想些什么。竟然愿意为了DEI放弃科研，这简直匪夷所思！
当然，把所有国际学生的身份都吊销，确实对他们很不公平。这不仅打击了学校的声誉，也伤害了美国的信誉。美国收了高昂的学费，却不能履行诚信义务，让学生无所适从，这显然是违背契约精神的。对此类一刀切的极端做法，我个人保留意见。但我还是那句话，这是哈佛咎由自取。它既然做了初一，就别怪别人做了十五。如果哈佛还对教育、对学生有一丝关怀之心，就应当尽快悬崖勒马，停止DEI这种愚蠢至极的行为。
哈佛校徽上印着VERITAS（真理）的字样，而不是DEI，完全的极左歪理邪说。

Be a good Leo, manage your utxo's.
1. Dont mix KYC'ed utxos with non KYC'ed utxos.
2. Consolidate small utxo's into larger one when the fees are low.
3. Label your utxos. Try to smartly choose which utxos you should use when you pay someone.
4. If you have P2PK utxos, you should consider migrating to P2WPKH utxos. It's more safe against quantum computing since the public key is exposend when the utxo is spent instead of immediately. Also Segwith utxos will cost less fees to move in the future.
5. You should consider coin joining your KYC'ed utxos to add privacy to them.
6. Dont use public services to watch your non KYC'ed utxos. Your identity can be tied to these utxos via your ip address. Use your own node in your own network to do so. You should always use your own node anyway.

I'm still understanding Nostr but yes that's right, much more powerful than meets the eye.
I think the video section in zap stream so far looks promising but definitely need improvement in order to attract people. It's kinda hidden and lacks features but it's a new website so it's understandable.
Personally I think a dedicated website for videos only might be better and keep ZapStream as a decided streaming website. I think mixing both isn't a good idea untill the website is much bigger. Mixing things seems to be a corporate thing.
The other site looks promising too because it's seems to be just videos and not gaming/streaming.
Unfortunately it's doesn't seem to work. If flare . pub is the correct site. I dunno.
