The time complexity of dequeue in this snippet is O(n), while if it were implemented correctly it would be O(1). A queue is usually implemented using a singly linked list and not an array.
I feel like this examples illustrates the dangers of vibe coding best. This code will not throw an error, it will run just fine and there is nothing that will make someone who does not know better look twice, but it will cost you.

One caveat here is that some projects are structured in a way that the programming was never the bottle neck in the first place. That is because they are embedded in giant legacy structures where most of the time you're stuck with coordinating, arguing and planning. Instinctually I'd say that 70% of software engineering hours are happening in those invisible deep industry pockets.
The greenfield, fresh and really vibe codable projects are more of an exception than the rule.
Not to say that all software engineering is benefiting from AI in some way.

なのでやはりトイレはトイレできちんとする習慣をつけることをお勧めしていましたし、今でもお勧めします。マナーとしてより自己防衛のために、お勧めしていました。
わたしが勤めていたショップでは、まずお客さんの機材をスタッフが洗う、ショップオーナーが休みを返上して洗う、といった過剰サービスはしていませんでした。
やはり自分の機材を大切にしない、といった、あまりよくない習慣を身に着けてもらうのは、よくないという考えからです。なのでね？たかがスーツ内の放尿されど放尿、ということで、まぁ避けたほうが賢明ですよ？ということは表明しておきたいです。

i've mentioned token based economy (mainly using token instead of compute for shits and giggles) previously but reading this crystalized couple things a bit more:
- capital allocation game will change significantly, instead of giving 100s of startups preseed/seed checks you just buy gpus and allocate compute time to ideas
- anyone with access to cheap power and capital to build infrastructure now will be in a very advantageous position since compute is a lot more reusable than money paid out to developers
- its gonna be interesting to see how much of an edge running a large frontier model vs good enough model than can run on somewhat commodity hardware (lets say $10k budget) will be, I guess small good enough model with lots of unified memory for context could get decently far
- this has the potential to be an extremely centralizing force
- a lot of big bitcoin miners might be underpriced given that they are perfectly set up for this (tho to be fair many are already running hybrid loads)
