Печерський районний суд міста Києва 18 березня 2025 року ухвалив рішення на користь митрополита Олександра (Драбинка) у справі про захист честі, гідності та ділової репутації. Суд зобов’язав Київську Митрополію Української Православної Церкви (в єдності з Московським Патріархатом) спростувати поширену нею недостовірну інформацію, що містилася у “Відкритому зверненні Священного Синоду УПЦ (МП)” від 14 листопада 2016 року. Також суд присудив митрополиту Олександру 1 гривню моральної шкоди та компенсацію судових витрат.
Згідно з рішенням суду (справа № 757/26221/22-ц), яке ухвалив суддя Ю. Г. Головко, Київська Митрополія УПЦ (МП) зобов’язана протягом місяця з дня набрання рішенням законної сили опублікувати на офіційному сайті Релігійної організації «Місія синодальний інформаційно-просвітницький відділ Української Православної Церкви» за власний кошт спростування тверджень Синоду УПЦ (МП), визнаних судом негативними, недостовірними та такими, що порочать честь, гідність та порушує право на недоторканість ділової репутації митрополита Олександра (Драбинка). Ось ці твердження синоду УПЦ (МП), які суд визнав недостовірними:
- *«Ганебності ситуації додає той факт, що джерелом інформаційного бруду для неї став митрополит Переяслав-Хмельницький і Вишневський Олександр (Драбинко)».*
- *«Не доводячи до відома церковної влади те, що йому відомі якісь важливі факти, він вирішив через засоби масової інформації розповсюджувати нічим не підтверджені плітки та наклепи».*
- *«…стосовно небезпідставних підозр у співучасті в резонансному злочині…».*
*Суд також стягнув з Київської Митрополії УПЦ (МП) на користь митрополита Олександра (Драбинка) 1,00 гривню в рахунок відшкодування моральної (немайнової) шкоди та 33931,20 гривень судових витрат.*
Рішення може бути оскаржене до Київського апеляційного суду протягом тридцяти днів з дня його проголошення.
Нагадаємо, конфлікт розпочався 14 листопада 2016 року після публікації згаданого “[Відкритого звернення Священного Синоду УПЦ (МП) до Президента України Петра Порошенка](https://uoc-news.church/2016/11/14/vidkrite-zvernennya-svyashhennogo-sinodu-ukrajinskoji-pravoslavnoji-cerkvi-do-prezidenta-ukrajini-petra-poroshenka/#2025-05-22)“. У цьому зверненні Синод УПЦ (МП) не лише висунув прямі звинувачення проти митрополита Олександра, але й, як зазначав сам митрополит, намагався чинити тиск на нього. За словами митрополита Олександра, однією з ключових цілей звернення Синоду було “відбілити” репутацію олігарха Вадима Новинського та вплинути на розслідування щодо його ролі у справі про незаконне позбавлення волі самого митрополита Олександра (Драбинка).
Важливо зазначити, що у листопаді 2016 року Генеральна прокуратура України підготувала екс-президенту України [Віктору Януковичу підозру](https://uoc-news.church/2016/11/14/vidkrite-zvernennya-svyashhennogo-sinodu-ukrajinskoji-pravoslavnoji-cerkvi-do-prezidenta-ukrajini-petra-poroshenka/#2025-05-22) щодо тиску на митрополита Володимира, метою якого було “створити умови для узурпації влади, в тому числі призначення на вищі церковні посади лояльних до нього людей”. Ця справа стосувалася перевищення службових повноважень при незаконному позбавленні волі помічника митрополита Володимира Олександра Драбинка. Депутат Вадим Новинський проходив як співучасник в одному з епізодів “великої справи Януковича”, що стосувалася узурпації влади та впливу на Церкву. Митрополит Олександр підкреслив, що його незаконне утримання було частиною плану з усунення з посади Предстоятеля – Блаженнішого Митрополита Володимира (Сабодана) та сприяння обранню на його місце бажаної для певних кіл кандидатури, зокрема митрополита Антонія ([Паканича](https://df.news/2022/12/11/zelenskyj-uviv-u-diiu-sanktsii-proty-antoniia-pakanycha-j-inshykh-kerivnykiv-upts-mp/)), якого зараз характеризують, як [лідера проросійського крила в УПЦ (МП)](https://df.news/2023/10/22/lider-prorosijskoho-kryla-upts-mp-pakanych-podiakuvav-nardepam-iaki-ne-holosuvaly-za-zaboronu/), до якого нещодавно з [обшуками приходила СБУ](https://df.news/2025/04/15/sbu-obshukuie-ofis-mytropolyta-upts-mp-antoniia-pakanycha/). Таким чином, “Відкрите звернення” Синоду, на думку позивача, мало на меті дискредитувати його як важливого свідка у цій справі.
Попередні позови митрополита до окремих єрархів та структур УПЦ (МП) були відхилені судами нижчих інстанцій. Однак Касаційний цивільний суд у складі Верховного Суду згодом вказав на те, що до участі у справах були залучені неналежні відповідачі. Це дозволило митрополиту Олександру у вересні 2022 року подати новий позов, вже до належного відповідача – Київської Митрополії Української Православної Церкви, який і завершився згаданим рішенням Печерського суду.
Це рішення суду першої інстанції фактично визнає безпідставність гучних звинувачень, висунутих проти митрополита Олександра Синодом УПЦ (МП) у 2016 році.

While there are signs of dissent within their societies, which takes the form of rising populist-nationalist sentiment in the EU and increasing opposition to Zelensky’s rule in Ukraine, electoral fraud and the secret police combine to prevent reformists from coming to power in both. This is the objectively existing state of affairs today.
While critics of the EU and Ukraine want to believe that positive change is “inevitable”, that can’t be taken for granted, and it would be irresponsible for Russia to prematurely formulate policy with this expectation in mind when they’re still in a state of hybrid and hot war with it respectively. To be clear, Putin didn’t signal that Russia should soften its policy towards either since he himself probably knows that his prediction might not come to pass within his lifetime, but he still hopes that it one day will.
Considering all of this, Putin’s prediction was probably only an attempt to influence Trump into not abandoning the peace process instead of him hinting at upcoming policy changes towards the EU and Ukraine. Even in the best-case scenario that Russia achieves most of its goals in the special operation, whether via diplomatic or military means, too much has happened for a reconciliation to occur anytime soon after. It’ll likely take a generation or more, if ever, but no one should get their hopes up.
