The government never "prints money," it takes loans out in our name and we pay interest on the principal that can never be paid off.
Then they take the portion of the interest paid to the central bank and spend that too.
If any citizen happens to collect interest on the debt, they have to pay them up to half of it in taxes, and they use that toward paying interest on more loans.
Its nice work if you can get it.
