I like my car. Just last month it had the check engine light on and I bought a diagnostic tool to check it. In order to make sure I get my money's woth out of the diagnostic tool, it's check engine light is back on again. How very thoughtful of it.
In all seriousness, luckily it's a non-damaging emissions leak. Especially because I have some extra work coming up soon and rushing to get it fixed was not something I wanted to be doing.

With Monero your funds are safe as long as you have the seedphrase somewhere.

Monero hides all amounts.
'Cashu does offer decent privacy at the protocol level, but it does not take into consideration network level privacy. mints may try to collect network data such as access time, IP addresses and or other metadata.'
That is a similar problem with Monero. Though it can either circumvented by using your own node or using a VPN/Tor/I2P with a public node.

So most everyday users will just send it through unsafe channels probably. With Monero even non-techy users profit from nearly all of the privacy features as TX gets handled/send by nodes.

#asknostr refugee and asylum nonprofits in USA? My South African friend made an appointment at a local nonprofit that claimed to help with immigration and asylum in the US. When he showed up at their office, he said the staff acted strangely and even the intake person he was meeting with was barely looking him in the eye. (They gave him a covid mask when he walked in if that tells you anything)
The person he met with told him in no uncertain terms that they won't take his case. (Even though the phone interview he had with them told him they likely would) My friend thinks its because he is white (he was the only white person there).
His family fled with suitcases and not much else. They spent most of the money they had staying in a 1 room motel with 3 kids.
Are their any organizations that will assist white refugees in the US?
Upshot is that his wife is using AI to help navigate the asylum process and do the paperwork themselves. They really need a better temporary housing situation though.

Not all of them are Nazis. But in 2014 the Deep State initiated a color revolution in Ukraine to destabilize it. They basically took control of Ukraine and used it as a hub to launder money among other things. They used the Azov Battalion (Nazis) as a military arm.
Deep State hates Putin and they hate Trump because neither are Globalists. Putin and Trump are both Nationalists. They want what’s best for their individual countries.
