Una vez terminado el partido, Marcelo Gallardo habló en conferencia de prensa y reveló los motivos que llevaron a River a quedar eliminado del Apertura en cuartos de final: “Platense hizo méritos para que nosotros no pudiéramos fluir como equipo, que no pudiéramos mostrar lo que veníamos haciendo, a veces lo generas y lográs someter al rival más allá de lo que proponga y terminas ganando por insistencia y a veces no, encima porque el rival trabaja bien el partido para llevarte a esa situación de cortar circuitos que a nosotros nos potencia como equipo”.
Además, agregó: “No estuvimos finos y no pudimos ser creativos para romper ese buen trabajo de quita y espacios, cuando pasa eso cuesta y nos costó. Fijate que nosotros teníamos que mover la pelota con mayor velocidad porque Platense con el gol que los favorecía, el gol no los iba a dañar”.
“Debíamos encontrar fineza para mover la pelota para tratar de romper esos espacios que nos acortaba y ahí no estuvimos finos como para encontrar los caminos, no por la desesperación de la gente sino porque teníamos que jugar de una manera que no lo sintiera cómodo al rival, pero cuando se empieza a cortar el partido, cuando vas en desventaja, se empieza a jugar con cierta desesperación y la búsqueda no es muy clara, conseguimos el empate en el final más por amor propio que por búsqueda futbolística porque no encontrábamos los caminos”, añadió Gallardo.

¿Qué es lo que más le duele de la eliminación?
Gallardo contó qué es lo que más le molesta de haber quedado eliminado en esta instancia: “Más que preocupación, la frustración de no haber podido llegar hasta el final que era uno de nuestros objetivos, tengo que reconocer dos cosas: lo nuestro que hoy no pudimos fluir como veníamos fluyendo, eso por un lado, también lo otro es reconocer el trabajo que hizo el rival”.

More AIs Are Taking Polls and Surveys
I already knew about the declining response rate for polls and surveys. The percentage of AI bots that https://laurenleek.substack.com/p/the-quiet-collapse-of-surveys-fewer
is also increasing.
Solutions are hard:
1. Make surveys less boring.
We need to move past bland, grid-filled surveys and start designing experiences people actually want to complete. That means mobile-first layouts, shorter runtimes, and maybe even a dash of storytelling. TikTok or dating app style surveys wouldn’t be a bad idea or is that just me being too much Gen Z?
2. Bot detection.
There’s a growing toolkit of ways to spot AI-generated responses—using things like response entropy, writing style patterns or even metadata like keystroke timing. Platforms should start integrating these detection tools more widely. Ideally, you introduce an element that only humans can do, e.g., you have to pick up your price somewhere in-person. Btw, note that these bots can easily be designed to find ways around the most common detection tactics such as Captcha’s, timed responses and postcode and IP recognition. Believe me, way less code than you suspect is needed to do this...
