unpopular opinion:
basement bar is the worst thing that happened to honeybadger conference. instead of great old town places where the magic would happen now everyone goes to the basement bar as the official "afterparty place" which has nowhere near the capacity or ambient to host that many people.
roaming around old town and randomly meeting friends was big part of the charm of the honeybadger and I think that has disappeared.

AIはなんらかのシードを与えてやらないと過度に一般化されたカッスカスの回答を出してくるので、ムカついてきて自分は何が回答として欲しいのかを真剣に考え始める。そうやってスコープをどんどん絞っていくことで焦点が定まってくる。
いわば、ぼやっとした要件しか出さないハラスメント上司と、頭いいけど行間を読まない部下のコンビ。

Excess energy from wind farms is often wasted when they’re shut off to avoid overloading the grid, costing billions in losses. Instead of halting production, government could partner with Bitcoin mining companies to utilize this surplus energy for Bitcoin mining. In exchange, these companies could pay a fee or share profits with the government, which could then hold Bitcoin as a strategic reserve. This approach would reduce financial waste, maximize renewable energy use, and create a new revenue stream while bolstering national economic resilience through digital asset reserves.
The evidence is clear to me, stop wasting billions of tax payers money, stop wasting energy, and adopt a new strategy that includes Bitcoin. We are falling behind in the tech space, the likes of USA, Dubai, Switzerland, Brazil and El Salvador are all grasping this opportunity whilst the UK is wasting it.

China follows the U.S. with an estimated $314 billion in military expenditure, up 7% from 2023. Over the last decade (2015–2024), China’s military spending increased by 59%.
Meanwhile, Russia’s spending was up by 38% year over year at nearly $150 billion. Together, the United States, China, and Russia—often considered strategic competitors—made up 54% of global military expenditure in 2024.
