If we actually want bitcoin to be widely used and adopted, all you need to do is back every bitcoin with US dollar, remove hard cap of 21m and rename Bitcoin (BTC) to Tether (USDT).
That way it will be way easier for people to understand.

It's by no means easy but one verifies authenticity with tools (e.g. metadata) or multiple people who do know better. In these days as we're being molded by bullshit in every step we're also getting better at spotting whether the material has been crafted to provoke a specific end/reaction in contrast to casual information.
For more ambiguous yet seemingly important stuff, it needs a thorough check for contradictions and how well it ties with other factual information.
One thing about actual knowledge is that it rarely contradicts what's already known/established and instead adds to the whole picture to provide a better/more holistic view.
In short, truth is way easier to verify while its impossible to do that with bullshit since its a thing of its own.

"The currency swap is a tool for action, as I just commented. So there is no love to increase or decrease it, it exists as a tool," David said. He emphasized that the swap is a tool available to the BC and will be used whenever necessary. Brics and currency The Director of Monetary Policy at the Central Bank also said that the Brics bloc - which includes countries such as Brazil, China, Russia, and India - does not have enough assets to create a currency that can counter the US dollar, at least in the next few years. "There is no reasonable amount of assets among the Brics that can counter the dollar at this moment, and I think it won't happen in the next ten years," David said. He repeated that the dollar will likely maintain its role as a reference currency for a long time, although it is reasonable to imagine that bilateral negotiations between countries will become more frequent.

Changing the Bitcoin denomination to Sats is a terrible idea, IMO, but there's some merit to the benefits of a "stock split" argument.
Why not call 1/100,000 a Bit and then you can have your cake and eat it too. A Bit would be ~$1 and would be a denomination that people could more easily relate to.
BTC is too large and Sats are too small for familiarity / adoption for transactions. It's a bad idea to redefine either Bitcoin or Sats, but creating a new denomination closer to $1 could provide the benefit they're looking for without all of the problems associated with changing long-standing denominations.
