that is not a real scenario, halvings and rewards are known and miners adapt to that, the variable is btc price, if btc price dropped to 40k tomorrow, hashrate would most likely drop, if btc was 1M usd tomorrou hashrate would skyrocket, hashrate will find an equilibrium according to btc market cap. Like satoshi said, the cost of production(hashrate) will follow price.
