Well that's what they tell us, but it's because flat panels take 100x less resources to make than a CRT 🤣. The secret of any screen is manually configuring to be as comfortable as possible before adapting to it, doing so takes time, if it's too bright or too dark, or have colors and stuff off, it's going to be harmful. Factory modes won't do.
