On Saturday afternoon (17), two men were arrested by the Military Police of the Federal District (PMDF) suspected of committing a financial fraud against an elderly person in Anรกpolis, Goiรกs. The duo was located and detained by police from the 25th Battalion with the support of intelligence services and information provided by the Goiรกs Military Police (PMGO) and Federal Highway Police (PRF). According to PMDF, the scam involved a fake sale of a drill. During the supposed transaction, the criminals managed to steal the elderly person's bank card and then made withdrawals totaling over R$12,000. The vehicle used in the crime, a gray Volkswagen Polo, was located by the police while it was traveling on the DF-075 (EPNB) highway towards Brasรญlia. The stop occurred at km 2.4 of the highway. Inside the car were two men, 27 and 28 years old, both from the state of Sรฃo Paulo. With them were found R$2,245 in cash, two bank cards with partially erased names - possibly belonging to the victim - two card machines and a bank statement in the elderly person's name. The suspects were taken to the 21st Police Station and arrested for the crime of fraud by theft.

I met my hearts purest desires on that trip, hours sitting under the stars beside a beach fire, or days in a hammock, thinking about life.
