O Esporte Espetacular deste domingo (18) mostra ao vivo a primeira edição do “Moto Roça”, um desafio radical com alguns dos maiores nomes do motocross estilo livre.
Um terreno onde a potência encontra a habilidade e a natureza. O “Moto Roça” é um evento de motocross, estilo livre. O objetivo é fazer as manobras mais impressionantes, quase como querer dominar um touro feito de metal. A adrenalina misturada com o ambiente rural.
"Desde garotinho tenho essa paixão pelo rodeio, tá dentro de mim, mas a moto tomou conta. Combinou os dois - rodeio e motocross", afirma Roberto Martins, piloto de motocross.
Repórter: "O que é mais fácil: domar aqueles cavalos e bois bravos ou uma moto dessas com vários cavalos no motor?"
Roberto Martins: "A moto né, a moto você tá dominando, o boi e o cavalo não!"
Roberto, caubói das motos, vai encontrar mais gente disposta a encarar os obstáculos da pista. Serão oito atletas de três países diferentes. Entre eles, Javier Villegas, o Astroboy, um chileno em busca do quarto título.
"Para mim, quando fica difícil é quando mais quero tentar para saber que eu consegui. Minha mulher fica brava", conta Javier Villegas.
Esse ano, o evento vai ter uma novidade: uma câmera que vai colocar o espectador em cima da moto durante as manobras.
A própria pista ajuda a traduzir o tamanho do desafio de se praticar esse esporte. Duas rampas, por exemplo, abrigam um vão de 21 metros de distância que vai ser sobrevoado pelos atletas.
O percurso, para ser preparado, levou cerca de 8 mil toneladas de terra — o equivalente a quase 600 caçambas de caminhão cheias. Tudo isso para avaliar os motociclistas em quatro quesitos: a variedade, a dificuldade, a execução e a energia.
"A energia com os juízes tem a ver com como você logra conexão com o público. Assim faz com que o público reaja com o coração e os juízes vão levar isso como energia", afirma Javier Villegas.
Pra ganhar, não basta voar mais alto. É preciso levantar a torcida também.
