So I did my first 24 hour fast over the weekend. Not too bad. Got myself some fasting electrolytes to mix in my water and some MCT powder to add to my coffee when I break my fast.
Will be working my way up to a 3 day fast at some point soon. Takes a little will power. During my 24 hour fast I kept thinking about food lol.

Yes yes. It does sound the same of course.
But “at” in Arabic is how plurals are made. Female plural specifically.
Like we say, house, houses.
It’s house, housat.
So when the word is just sat… that’s as if the base was just s + at for plural.
Arabic does not have 1 letter words, the minimum is three letters, then additions.
And we can’t add the s at the end for plural, because that makes it sound even more weird.
So the word itself is just very foreign to the English language, as foreign as imaging you have to calls it 500 Is. It’s very difficult to pronounce in English.
