If it's just for experimentation with family and friends, then you can set up a private, trusted zero-conf channel from your node to their Blixt wallet, for example. That way nothing hits the chain and they can have a 10k sat channel. When they're done just abandon the channel from your node and coordinate with them to pay you back the money they spent.

It’s still not too late to buy Bitcoin… we’re still early in Bitcoin’s monetization curve.
Right now, Bitcoin is in the adoption phase, not the dominance phase. Think internet in the late ’90s or gold in the early 1800s. Fewer than 5% of people on Earth hold any meaningful amount of Bitcoin. Institutions are just starting to enter. Governments haven’t fully understood it. And most financial systems still don’t integrate it natively.
The market cap is under $2T… that’s nothing compared to global real estate, bonds, or even gold. If Bitcoin becomes the global monetary base or even just a widely held sovereign asset it has 10x to 100x room to run.
People said it was “too late” at $100… $1,000… $10,000… $30,000. And they’ll keep saying it at $110K, $250K, and beyond.
It’s not too late because the world still runs on fiat illusions… and Bitcoin is still the life raft most haven’t seen yet.

At routstr were building the first marketplace to buy and sell LLM APIs using cashu tokens.
Using our proxy you can monetize any OpenAI API compatible LLM server on a per token basis at msat precision (e.g. your local hosted LlamaCPP server)
As User you can just put a cashu note into the api-key field of your llm application and as long as the balance lasts, you can leave the same note.
We dont have everything build out yet and soon we’re getting the marketplace onto nostr so people can list their own nodes.
To then ensure trust and quality we are working on a separate evaluation system so you know which nodes provide a good service.
