tried upping the number of worker threads and it blows out memory but giving the worker thread one buffer seems to keep memory under control... the full text index is very slow, it does a lot of writing to the value table, well, it's fine really, once it's done with the existing store of events it only updates events as they come in which will be fine, and it only has to do it once because events are immutable
i probably should think about the deleting as well, since a deleted event should really be deleting all of its fields in the inverted indexes, probably should even do that next... and it doesn't have to require a big amount of work, it can just gather the words in the event and go straight to them to prune out the entry, or in other words only a little more heavy than making the entries in the first place. has to be done because replaceable events delete as well as actual delete events. yeah, gotta attend to that next, before i continue to the search.

The data says on average people pay a lot more for non-standard OP_RETURN transactions and wait longer. Standardness, then decreases the cost. That's my contention.
What miners will do in the face of more non-standard OP_RETURNs being available, I have no idea. What I do know is that there are social costs to mining stuff like inscriptions, which is why MARA has a bad reputation.
Perhaps giving up a little fee revenue is worth not mining spam to some miners. In other words, it's not a straightforward calculation of miners making more money with no downside when mining these.
So yea, I would expect at least some miners to not mine them. In fact, you know the miners on OCEAN are mostly *not* mining inscriptions and the like, so there's your counterexample right there. How many of them will is the real question, because that naturally reduces the profit they make from the non-standard transactions. But I guarantee it's not everyone and possibly not even the majority as we're seeing here.

Glomalin Goblin
Glomalin is the glue that holds soil particles together and it is tough. To isolate glomalin from the soil is a chemically brutal protocol.
It has to be heated to 250 °F in a citrate bath for at least an hour under pressure at 15 lbs. This process is so brutal that it would denature (effectively destroy) most biological compounds. The sheer level of force needed just to extract glomalin to study says much about how stable it is as a soil aggregator.
Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi sheaths itself with glomalin as a protective layer. Its a glycoprotein and is carbon rich. It is estimated that a full 1/4 to 1/3 of all the earth's carbon is held in glomalin.
