one of the purpose of #BITCOIN is to be acceptable for circulation of value.
Deflation come with big players invest and big moves.
But when (i didn't say "if") #bitcoin will be more used and not only stack by most bitcoiner, then it will be more stable :
- miners will have fee to be paid (on more transactions)
- the ones who want some bitcoin will have to pay the price for it (it will become rare)
- bitcoin is more and more used worldwide by country in their exchange to avoid being slave of foreign fiat currency like dollar. And this is also a good news for stability.
The only thing that could hurt bitcoin and make it deflate again is some fucking laws that would forbid it in country, because all company and KYC users will have to urgently find a workaround for this, some will sell, some will go in foreign countries...
And it will be harder for the people of these "BTC-forbidden" countries to use it as an exchange of value.
Saying that, #bitcoin will stay alive for the rest of the world, always, so it is not a big issue.
And if you watch it closer, we are nowadays in a uncertain moment, fiat, dow jones, nasdaq, gold... are in trouble.
Not only because their value is less or more.
But because investor, move their big funds quickly from one to the other a lot more faster than before.
So #bitcoin is also touched by this huge amount move.
With a lot more "normal people" using bitcoin "investors" will be a less part of bitcoin "value" and deflate will be more rare.
This is just my point of view of this.
I am not worry. I am a little more concern about #bitcoin unity nowadays.

I challenge you and Ego Death, to come and see the community(ies) for yourself to nurture your viewpoint and get deeper within this framework; and to help bolster it out, if you believe you can. As this will be the base by which we will build the new world on Bitcoin.

Let me pitch a scenario-
You’re on decentralized social media site and it turns out the security on your device is poor (if you’re phone is not on lockdown with paid malware blockers, it definitely is)
You click on a link (have you ever seen the tracker bot?) or you get into a vibe coded app that doesn’t push you a permissions notification for your camera
And now someone is remote accessing your camera without your knowledge- those are called RATs, remote accessing tools and they’re common
Let’s just say that person has malicious intent towards you and now they are capturing photos of you- non consensual ones - ones while your getting ready for a shower or taking a bath and scrolling maybe?
And then they start uploading those photos of you anon to a censorship resistant social media
If there are no filters in place, they make it onto the relays no problem
If client operators aren’t catching them, the whole world now has your non-consensual photos and you have no way to take them down in that environment because they’re stored on shared, mirrored servers
This is why niche internet places are not spaces for survivors to share their stories, this is not a safe place for that- in fact, it’s incredibly dangerous
How much do you think those photos would go for? In a world with P2P mirrored immutable media compression… I, personally, don’t want to know because
It’s gross and it’s disgusting and there are people in this world that are absolute scum of the earth creeps who would not hesitate to sell you for their profit
Filters are the only thing that stands between us and that reality.
