opened with an interview with David Hogg, the youngest person ever elected as a DNC vice chair.
David is not someone most conservatives agree with on much, but he dropped a surprisingly good take on why Democrats are bleeding voters.
The answer? They’re no longer the party of fun.
He got a huge reaction from Bill Maher after saying Democrats need to reconnect with young men who just want to “get laid and have fun” without walking on eggshells.
He said the parties have flipped. Democrats are now the snobs who judge your every move, whereas Republicans are much less rigid.
“What I think happened last election is younger men—they would rather vote for somebody who they don’t completely agree with, they don’t feel judged by, than somebody who they do agree with, that they feel like they have to walk on eggshells around constantly because they’re going to be judged or ostracized or excommunicated.”
And because of that, young men are walking away.
“Nobody is perfect. But ultimately, what we have to do here is figure out how to bring people back in and work towards the bigger goal of advancing the future of this country and helping young people especially get by, so that they’re able to focus on their lives and getting with a young woman or something like that, instead of how are they going to pay their rent, for example, or how are they working their two jobs.
“Young people should be able to focus on what young people should be focused on, which is how to get laid and how to go and have fun.”
Maher clapped, stood up, and shook Hogg’s hand after that comment.

Argumenta bem.
A ideia sobre tradição não é de todo excluída, Paulo falou sobre a tradição que deveriam seguir, a tradição de trabalhar e não ficar vadiando, como era comum na Tessalônica, e Paulo até trabalhou lá para mostrar que convinha trabalhar. Ele até disse que era para notar quem não seguia essa tradição e se afastar dessa pessoa.
O problema, amigo, é fazer da tradição superior às Escrituras, como Cristo repreendeu os líderes judaicos que ensinavam mais os pensamentos dos antigos rabinos do que a Tanakh (Antigo Testamento) em si.
Não acho que o Novo Testamento é uma tradição, seria se fosse escrito por outras gerações, talvez, mas foi escrito pelas testemunhas oculares e por um missionário que viu o Senhor ressuscitado e que era contemporâneo dos apóstolos. Enquanto os evangelhos e cartas não chegavam, todos tinham o Antigo Testamento como fonte de doutrina cristã. Sim, ele mesmo. Afinal a maior parte da doutrina de Cristo era repetir o que os profetas e salmistas escreveram. Muita gente fala que os dois maiores mandamentos eram novos, mas já estavam escritos em Levítico e Deuteronômio cerca de quinze séculos antes de Cristo.
A Bíblia ensina a Sola Scriptura, sim, desde o Antigo Testamento. Quando Salomão e João diz para não acrescentar ou tirar à palavra de Deus, eles querem dizer que a doutrina não precisa de conteúdo externo, mesmo aquele produzido pelas mentes piedosas. Eles podem ter conselhos bons, mas não são normativas universais.
Veja o que Jesus disse que veio cumprir a Escritura, não a tradição rabínica. Se você perceber, Ele frustrou praticamente tudo o que os rabinos ensinavam em suas tradições como o Messias seria. Mas você poderia argumentar que eles escreveram suas tradições sem a autorização e direção de Deus. E eu concordarei com você. Agora, como provar que o que aconteceu com os rabinos não está se repetindo agora com a Sé da igreja? Para mim, é a mesma coisa, só a história se repetindo, trocando só o nome da instituição e dos personagens, mas o mesmo propósito humano de colocar sua visão e achar que a Escritura é insuficiente. Era isso que pensavam os rabinos.
Não estou dizendo que os livros de mentes piedosas são ruins, pelo contrário, mas eles só nos servem enquanto tiverem fundamento bíblico. Se não for assim, pode ser apenas uma fábula para ensinar uma lição de moral, se for só isso, os escritores e roteiristas clássicos fazem até melhor.

so, a few days in to taking potassium and a calcium/magnesium/zinc supplement and i definitely have a noticable improvement in my close vision compared to how it was in the last 3 weeks before that. right now typing this without my glasses on and i can read the font at the smallest size same as i could with larger font most of this year so far
