Estão abertas as inscrições para o curso gratuito de Mecânica Automotiva exclusivo para mulheres a partir de 18 anos. Interessadas devem realizar a pré-inscrição através de um formulário online (clique aqui). Também é obrigatória a confirmação presencial, que deve ser feita das 8h às 12h, até a sexta-feira (16), na sede da Secretaria de Assistência Social e Combate à Fome, localizada na Praça Pio XII, nº 264, Centro (2º andar), em Petrolina, Sertão de Pernambuco.

Com 30 vagas, o curso é promovido pela Secretaria de Assistência Social e Combate à Fomes em parceria com a Associação de Reparadores Automotivos do Vale do São Francisco (Autovasf) e o Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Industrial (Senai).
O curso tem duração aproximada de três meses e será realizado de segunda a sexta-feira, das 13h às 17h, no Senai. Durante a formação, as alunas vão aprender na prática os fundamentos da mecânica automotiva. Ao final do curso, as participantes vão receber certificado e oportunidade para o mercado de trabalho.
Além da formação, o objetivo é oportunizar que mulheres em situação de vulnerabilidade social conquistem sua independência financeira e ocupem espaços historicamente masculinos.
