Boa tarde. Eu no início também achava que ninguém ia querer saber de mim. Mas a galera daqui é outro nível. Escreva do que você gosta e poste. Você é economista , professor e gosta de informática são coisas que a galera daqui gosta. Quando eu entrei aqui eu pensei que seria hostilizado por viver em uma fazenda e falar coisas do meu dia a dia (off Grid) mas o pessoal daqui sempre quis saber mais sobre isso. Obrigado. Eu irei dar uma olhada neles. Embora a ideia de ter um cliente exclusivo de alguma coisa (como esses exclusivos para comunidade), como minha interação por aqui é praticamente exclusiva em comunidades, pode ser que eu me adapte. Esse pé atrás com esse tipo de cliente de propósito específico pode ser ranço da minha experiência horrivel como satellite.earth . É uma pena, no entant, não ter um cliente para desktop Linux neles. Acho tão engraçado a galera aqui ser tão ideológica em termos de libertarianismo, liberdade, uso indevido de dados e tal, e as melhores iniciativas de software serem para MacOS, iOS e Windows, mas isso já é outro assunto.

Obrigado pela resposta. Eu sempre tive um uso de redes socais muito orientado a comunidades, por dois motivos básicos:
(1) Não parece fazer sentido que eu tenha coisas a dizer que sejam interessantes os suficiente para que algué queira vir até o meu perfil ler. Não sou famoso, não tenho nenhuma habilidade especial, não acho que tenho nada de valioso para falar, etc. Então, essa coisa de microblog ou qualquer outro tipo de rede.
(2) Dado "1", eu sempre quis "procurar a minha turma", isto é: achar comunidades com o mesmo interesse onde eu possa conversar das coisas que gosto, aprender e, quem sabe, conseguir ensinar algo a alguém que esteja em estágio mais iniciantes do que o meu em qualquer aspecto. Por isso, nunca fui de usar o Instagram, por que não há esse tipo de interação, e sempre apreciei esse tipo de abordagem nas demais, como os grupos do Facebook, as comunidades do finado Orkut, e, principalmente os Grupos do também finado Google+, que era o mais legal de todos. Hoje uso muito o Reddit, por motivos óbvios.
No NOSTR, isso se intensifica por que ninguém fala comigo por aqui, então, em comunidades, eu consigo interagir melhor.

Pretty sure the whole point of OP Return was to make that data pruneable.
Images were being stored on nodes at the time already, and OPReturn was a way to end that paradigm.
This was 11years ago btw.

Well, we don't have any critical mass, yet. 10% subscribers is more than enough to carry a freemium video model, but 10% of what number?
If you think of what our gitserver costs, you'd probably need a few dozen high-paying subscribers, to get a video hosting service up and running, which means you need thousands of regular users. Until then, someone needs to just bleed the cash.

The problem is that we need to increase business adoption. That then transitions people from earning fiat and buying bitcoin, to earning bitcoin, saving bitcoin, spending bitcoin. If their source of income is Bitcoin it takes away the fiat option.

It’s a sad reality of the “Bitcoin economy” that we have to use fiat. I think it’s only a matter of time until we see fiat-based “zaps” in nostr clients, and at this stage I’d welcome it because maybe we’d see some actual meaningful economic activity here. There are already some clients that offer fiat-based in-app purchases. A lot of Bitcoiners larp an wax eloquently about a parallel Bitcoin standard economy, but then they go and hoard sats and spend only dollars.
