Corpo de Bombeiros distribuiu viaturas, embarcações, aeronaves e equipes especializadas em pontos estratégicos. Escolas estaduais também estão preparadas para funcionar como abrigos, caso seja necessária a retirada de moradores de áreas de risco.
Equipamentos, sirenes e abrigos em operação
A estrutura de resposta social também foi ativada. A Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Social e Direitos Humanos organizou uma logística emergencial com o envio de cestas básicas, kits de higiene, colchonetes e água potável para a Região Serrana.

O Estado conta com 202 sirenes e 70 pluviômetros instalados em áreas vulneráveis. Na capital, existem 164 sirenes distribuídas em 103 comunidades, com cerca de 200 pontos de apoio funcionando em igrejas, escolas e centros comunitários. A população pode se cadastrar para receber alertas por SMS ao enviar uma mensagem ao número 40199.
Volume de chuva pode causar transtornos graves
Segundo a Climatempo, o sul da Serra Fluminense pode registrar entre 250 mm e 350 mm de chuva até domingo. Na capital, em Campos dos Goytacazes, São Fidélis e Macaé, os acumulados devem variar entre 150 mm e 250 mm. Mesmo com menor intensidade, o Sudoeste fluminense pode enfrentar até 150 mm de precipitação.
O meteorologista Thiago Sousa, do Inmet, explicou ao jornal O Globo que os temporais devem se intensificar entre a tarde desta sexta-feira e a madrugada de sábado.
"Ainda há incertezas quanto ao horário exato de início e à distribuição final dos maiores acumulados de chuva, mas a tendência será monitorada rodada a rodada pelos modelos meteorológicos", alertou Sousa. "A população dessas regiões deve ficar atenta às atualizações e alerta das autoridades, especialmente em áreas vulneráveis a deslizamentos e enchentes."

Sábado será o dia mais crítico no Rio
A previsão para o sábado 5, é de instabilidade intensa, com temporais mais severos na Região Serrana, no Norte e no Noroeste do Estado. Há risco de raios, alagamentos e rajadas de vento. Nas demais áreas, o tempo permanece instável, com chuvas moderadas a fortes. No domingo 6, a tendência é de redução gradual da intensidade das chuvas.
Os ventos também preocupam. As rajadas devem variar entre 60 km/h e 80 km/h nesta sexta-feira e persistem no sábado, com picos de até 70 km/h. Árvores, galhos e estruturas metálicas estão entre os principais riscos. O mar também deve se agitar: ondas de até três metros são esperadas entre sábado e domingo, com possibilidade de ressaca em praias e áreas costeiras.
