Have you seen alignment of an LLM before in a chart format? Me neither.
Here I took Gemma 3 and have been aligning it with human values, i.e. fine tuning with a dataset that is full of human aligned wisdom. Each of the squares are a fine tuning episode with a different dataset. Target is to get high in AHA leaderboard.

Each square is actually a different "animal" in the evolutionary context. Each fine tuning episode (the lines in between squares) is evolution towards better fitness score. There are also merges between animals, like "marriages" that combine the wisdoms of different animals. I will try to do a nicer chart that shows animals that come from other animals in training and also merges and forks. It is fun!
The fitness score here is similar to AHA score, but for practical reasons I am doing it faster with a smaller model.
My theory with evolutionary qlora was it could be faster than lora. Lora needs 4x more GPUs, and serial training. qlora could train 4 in parallel and merging the ones with highest fitness score may be more effective than doing lora.

Huges swaths of buildings are overpriced garbage that have no future tenant as is. Developers will soon realize that a viable tenant is scarce. With no tenants they will need to quickly sell the property to the greater fool. These developers know what hard assets are and are tired of dealing with failed city policies and rising mgmt costs.

About 15 to 20 years ago I wrote a novel. I had some interaction with a self-publishing company, and a startup publishing company which limped along then died. I shelved the novel as I felt it needed someone else's eyes. Jenny and her mom are the only ones I know of who have read it (I sent it to others, but I don't think they read it). They told me they thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I think they might be biased.
So, in the spirit of Mercury Retrograde to revisit, renew and review I've self-published on Amazon. Also, it might be a backstory for a character in another novel. The Kindle version of the novel is available for free on Amazon for 5 days. Read it, if you like, you don't have to. If you like it, share it. ¿Sabéis que podéis tener una billetera multifirma 1/X? (solamente hace falta firmar con una clave privada)
¿Y que sentido tiene?
Pues se me ocurren un par de ventajas:
1- Backup "automático": no es necesario (aunque sí recomendable) tener copias de las claves privadas, si una falla, se usa alguna de las otras para mover los fondos.
2- Aunque alguna de las claves privadas sea comprometida, la wallet está a salvo ya que se necesitaría la receta para acceder a ella.
Y aunque es más segura que una billetera de firma única, ¡recordad que también tenéis que guardar la receta!
¿Que billeteras la soportan?
Al menos Sparrow wallet.
Aunque la verdad es que sería cuestionable llamarla "multifirma".

Under capitalism, you are the cow, the milk is your surplus value.
The main difference is that my cows get free healthcare, food, shelter etc. instead of money to spend on healthcare food and shelter.
You don't own the cows the cows represent people.
Capitalists exploit people the same way that farmers exploit livestock like dairy cows or egg laying chickens. The milk and eggs is their surplus value.

Why Paraguay?
1. Culturally, it's still close to Europe/US (compared to, say, Asia).
2. There's plenty of space, and it's relatively easy to live "off the radar" (hectares of land can be bought cheaply, and building permits are processed quickly).
3. Paraguay has excellent cuisine (top-quality beef in the world).
4. The locals are welcoming—if you make at least a minimal effort to integrate (basic Spanish and respect for local culture), they will accept you with open arms.
5. Taxes—Paraguay has a territorial tax system and a very simple tax structure (10% on local income).
6. If you stay away from politics and drugs, it's quite safe. Some of the better neighborhoods in Asunción are very safe (even at night).
7. No culture wars.
8. Crypto-friendly—capital gains from crypto are not taxed, and it's even possible to buy real estate with crypto. 12. Cheap transportation—you can get around the city (Asunción) using Bolt or Uber for $1.5–$5 (depending on distance). Diesel costs around $1 per liter. If you like big cars, it won’t hurt your wallet as much.

Tbh I can actually see people zapping a car crash, let's say you had some sort of Nightcrawler-type account, or people restraining police chase helicopter footage. I think people would zap that, perhaps not us nor people who are currently here. But can definitely see it happening.

I find the nation state and corporate treasury adoption story pretty boring.
It’s not because I disagree with it. Once a liquid asset reaches this scale, it’s natural for larger entities to want to own it.
A lot of people actively *don’t want* those big entities to buy it, which I think is kind of delusional since it’s a permissionless asset. Those anti-treasurers don’t find it boring; it’s their new thing to argue against.
And yet at the same time I have little interest in talking about them buying it. Yes, I think more of them will over time.
So I just find the topic boring. Neither for or against. Would rather focus on other uses of bitcoin.
