I suspect it will be easy to do if:
- you don't do rounds frequently (rounds cost money, which means it's harder/costlier to run Ark if you do rounds frequently, and unless you're very generous you have to pass on those costs to your users as fees, which makes it annoying to use)
- your friends and family trust you to prevent doublespends (if they *don't* trust you, they have to settle each payment before considering it "received," and settling costs the operator money, which, again, means more fees for users)
Ark's big tradeoff seems to be this: costs rise if you do rounds often, and if you don't do rounds often, it has the same trust assumptions as a statechain -- i.e. the operator can doublespend payments

Wir waren heute in einer Ausstellung in München im "Haus der Kunst". Sie heißt "Voices" und ist vom französischen Künstler Philippe Parreno [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philippe_Parreno].
Ich habe dabei mehrere Video-Aufnahmen gemacht, die ich hier gerne zeigen möchte. Natürlich kommt eine Aufnahme niemals an die Realität hin. Vor allem, da es relativ dunkel war und die Installationen sehr abgefahrene Effekte vor allem mit Licht und Ton hatten.
Deswegen hat meine Kamera auch öfter Schwierigkeiten mit dem Fokus. Aber ein Großteil der Aufnahmen sind relativ gut geworden, denn sogar die Originale waren öfters unscharf.

I just want someone that's kind of Conservative but kind of Liberal with the good progressive ideas but like in a good way.
Like obviously knows abortion is bad, guns are a right, that LGBTQ+ is kind of weird but like we shouldn't arrest them, or kill them, that promoting business, and economic growth is good for the economy, that marijuana should be decriminalized, that the military should be strong enough to keep our National Defense safe from foreign threats, that fair, reasonable, and sane amounts of immigration can be beneficial, that humans are causing long term negative impacts to our planet, and environment, that intersex is in fact a thing despite how badly The Trans Movement wants to hijack to use it to justify their fetish, that American workers are being left behind more, and more, that we should probably fund truthful, honest, and effective science, and not prop up Big Pharma like we did during covid, that we should take diseases very seriously, and plan to prevent, reduce, or stop them.
Politics is a silly game, and our laws are even sillier, no nuance, no reasonable policy being made, only extremist Democrat, or extremist Republican laws are being made.

Very excited for the Pixel Fold line to mature over the coming years.
Running #GrapheneOS on such a device replaces the need for a tablet and takes a big chunk out of my remaining laptop usage.
Long term, I can imagine such a device with a hybrid eink screen... that would be the only device I would need in my personal life.
I want my kids to live in a world of fewer devices, that are healthier and more private, not more.
