We've been banging the table for our real estate clients to add BTC to their lives for years now. And as we all know it's tough to get people to understand Bitcoin initially.
Anyway we may have cracked this a tad by using what they understand.
We started to share this example and the feedback has been good.
Let's say you have a rental property worth about $750K (yes, that's really a standard CAD fiat price for one in the Greater Toronto Area) that generates $475 in positive cash flow.
Now remember, these investors do not want to sell their real estate (yet!) .... they consider it risky. So we're presenting this:
Take the $475 in cash flow and use it to get a credit line secured against the rental. At 5.7% rate here in Canada that gets you $100K, then buy Bitcoin with it.
You now have a $750K property.
And $100K in BTC.
After 10 years:
Property Value at 7% CAGR (historic rate) = $1,378,844
Bitcoin value at 24% CAGR (low 4-year rolling CAGR) = $693,098
Combined Value = $2,071,943
After 20 years:
Property Value = $2,712,395
Bitcoin Value = $5,956,786
Combined Value = $8,669,181
So for $475/month that they property paid for they totally changed the return on the one rental property.
You almost double the CAGR of property from 7% to 13.75% over 20 years with a simple $475/month credit line payment invested in BTC.
The feedback by some of our most serious investors has been instantly profound, almost like they finally "get it".

Imagine if everyone could issue their own IOUs in sats. I don’t mean just anyone, but literally everyone. You would accept promises only from well-known and verified peers—and only up to a certain amount. You would compare the risk of losing this money with the cost of bitcoin settlement.
During times of cheap block space, like now, you could settle on-chain more frequently. If you have a stable internet connection on your mobile, you could start opening channels with your peers. Once you have a few channels, the incentive to hold IOUs decreases. And with further optimizations, it diminishes even more.

I’ll take a stab at it. There’s a lot to unpack here and I’ll be paraphrasing rand0 a fair amount here, so hopefully he cuts me some slack.
Orange Pillers lack foresight and only view things in hindsight. They lack discernment and never take personal accountability. They have no principals and will abandon these principals at the first sign of confrontation. Never truly believe in what they say. A simp. A follow the leader - unable to come up with an original thought. A second-guesser. A sugar-coater, tip-toeing around feelings because they secretly crave and covet influencer status. They are the Western Commie, a Dishonest Courtesan, an Elite Yuppie. A person infected with VAIDs. Someone who does the bare minimum and expects passive income. An invertebrate. A gaslighter. A collective altruist, who doesn’t understand reality. It’s never their fault for why they are where they are. They think they’re morally superior than you. To put it succinctly: they are the one marshmallow kid. When something good happens, it’s never enough. And shockingly these same people that supposedly hodl bitcoin, have future predictions that are Nihilistic in nature.
Orange Pillers buy high and sell low and then get mad when institutions arrive before they have “enough” (ignoring the fact they had a 15 year head start). They always say stuff like, “Yeah, I heard about Bitcoin at like $45 a coin.” You could replace $45 with any number and the point is they don’t buy unless their wive’s let them. They reminisce of what “could have, should have, and would have been.” Eventually, their envy makes their pockets empty. They lash out and lose their way.
“It’s not fair,” “It’s going below $10k soon,” “The ETFs will never get approved,” “The price could go up or down. Or sideways,” After something happens that’s positive for Bitcoin: “Wow, Bitcoin is down 8% now. Thought you said we would moon after the good thing for Bitcoin occurs?” “What about a Bitcoin 6102? Did you ever think of that?” “What if the power goes out for years? Bitcoin will surely be worthless then!” “Lol, it’s never going to $1 mil” “$20 DCA is the way,” “Politics don’t matter,” “It’s just two sides of the same coin,” “What if the government bans it?”, “Trump is a traitorous seditious liar!” “He’s just trying to get your vote!” “Why didn’t he free Ross last time?” “Wear your mask!” “You don’t care about anyone but yourself!” “I had no choice to get the jab or else I would have been fired!” “You’re just a conspiracy theorist!” “Where’s your evidence it’s the thing that it clearly is, but I’m in denial because if I acknowledge it I’m doomed?” “You’re being sexist!” “You’re being selfish!” “You’re being anti-Semitic!” “You can’t just point out the obvious! It’s not that easy!”“Weird that you care about Greedlove’s sex life!” “I’ll believe it when I see it!” “I’m going to heed the advice of this 19 year old who works at Target and has no life experience, over Saylor’s advice!” “I can’t wait for bitcoin to go crash and watch Saylor’s company implode!”“Wow, Sam’s (Bankman-Friedman) is really going to get away with it!” “*trades bitcoin with leverage and blames anyone but themselves*” “No! That’s not how I want you to use Bitcoin!” “I don’t know why you’re happy Wall Street is co-opting Bitcoin. We were supposed to replace the banks!” “No! Wall Street should listen to me! I’m the adult in the room! I was in the space before them!”
That’s not everything Orange Pillers have said, but hopefully you get the gist by now of how they behave naturally.
Here’s the rub, however. When enough time has passed, it always, without failure, comes down to:
