I challenged nostr galaxy devs nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft recently to measure and attribute an increase in number of notes found pre and post outbox implementation.
The answer I received was there is no interest to do this and/or it’s difficult to measure this.

Yes, however even after setting up orbot in the same way as I have before, the relay seems to not be able to be read from as an outbox anymore. I can write to it, but it won't be read from?
This may be a particular issue with mullvad/graphene/orbot working together. I know graphene doesn't think orbot is a well coded app.

A colleague has started to use Google's NotebookLM to produce study guides, a podcast episode, etc. for his students to use. Admittedly, it's a neat little tool, but I do wonder if any FOSS and/or more privacy-related options exist.
For example, can I install and run a comparable, offline AI tool on my own desktop, something that will provide an AI-generated set of notes, a fictitious podcast episode, etc. for use in the classroom?

Has anyone done any research on the sexual assualt allegations against Jacob Appelbaum?
There is a new documentary called “Nobody Wants to Talk about Jacob Appelbaum” that seems to cover the issue but it doesn’t seem to be available outside of some film festival screenings.
Considering how utterly wrong the CCC-affiliated cancel mob is on almost every relevant topic I have my suspicions that this was just another successful attempt or getting rid of a famours hacker who defied the US government by smearing them in the eyes of the public.
