Maybe there are reasons to do it nostr-natively (the IP obfuscation is not one). I agree we should use existing solutions, tor is just too slow for people to bother with usually, so it's probably more a question of making this stuff accessible with a good UX. I think a harder problem than IP obfuscation is filter analysis anyway. If your client sends 100 filters in a minute, there's a lot the relay can learn about your pubkey.

因为第一个朋友这么容易就明白了，我就再跟一个平时好像很懂摄影，买了不少相机的朋友讲这个事。讲完之后，他就一口咬定是“景深”问题，然后发了一些大光圈拍的特写镜头给我，说这样肯定拍不到星星啊。然后就开始了他的各种摄影高手教学，还提到哈勃和韦伯太空望远镜要拍星空都是多么不容易等等，以为我什么都不懂一样。然而他完全没有去做我说的实验。
于是我明白了这个道理，Matrix 利用了人们的这种心理，很多人根本不会去认真分析，而只是盲目的显示自己很懂摄影，所以他们无法理解这个简单的实验所说明的事情。
而且很多人被“科学”冲昏了头脑，却失去了常理的推断能力，所以他们会简单的相信官方的说法，却不会想到这样的常理：任何需要的拍摄条件都是可以创造的，就像在地球上拍星空一样，然而却从未拍到真实的星空。
这就是宗教的力量，我们很难改变它。

Saying no is always an option, but only you can do it for you. The other side of that is negotiating to get yourself what you require from them to be this available for them (equity, significant raise, additional time off they can't call you in during, overtime at a rate you desire anytime you work someone else's shift/they call you in etc..) be creative and ask for what you require. Worse case scenario they say no, best case scenario you realize your worth and move on to better things.
