both Christian Right and the Woke Left reject reason in favor of Faith / Feelings.
they both fundamentally believe that thoughts are good or bad ( as opposed to clear / delusional ) and that they must think good thoughts whether they are supported by reality or not.
we need a party of reason that would combine Libertarian principles of limited government with some common sense ideas that Libertarians seem not to understand such as:
1 - borders serve a purpose ( at least when they are between 1st and 3rd world countries )
2 - some individuals can't handle freedom ( and should be deported )
3 - economic and population growth if unchecked will destroy environment
