One of the main organizers of the march, Saif Abukeshek, said that other initiatives will be carried out outside of Egypt due to the conditions imposed by the Arab country's government. Israel had asked Egypt to prevent the marchers from reaching the Gaza border, and by last Friday (11), at least 200 people had already been deported. The Sumood convoy, which left in caravans from North African countries such as Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Mauritania, and Libya, reported that it was prevented from continuing its journey to Egypt due to the actions of Khalifa Haftar's militias, which control eastern Libya. "The convoy was stopped, pursued, and had several members detained by these militias backed by Israel and the United Arab Emirates.
