Si esta tendencia continua, mas pronto que tarde, no va a haber monedas para todos los que van a querer comprarlas. Ahora todavía hay muchos antiguos holders que venden (pobres incautos), pero a este ritmo la única solución para que siga habiendo monedas o sats a la venta va a ser que el precio suba y mucho, mucho porque con lo que se mina no llega ni para el aperitivo. Yo creo que no falta demasiado para que todo esto explote, para mi ya estamos en un punto de no retorno porque ya sabemos que cuanto peor lo haga el sistema oficial mas trabajo va a tener Bitcoin y mira como están las cosas a todos los niveles, deuda, guerras, corrupción, censura, recorte de libertades, etc, etc... y ningún síntoma de que alguien haga algo con honestidad para arreglarlo así que..., Descansa Bitcoin que te espera mucha tarea.

ColdCard hardware devices are cool, but they remain the most expensive, inconsistent, and unreliable I've used.
Granted, this data comes from only two Q and two mk4 devices, but I figure that's more than most people have to go on.
I'm hearing more podcasts advertising them as the best at this and that. Maybe, but I have much cheaper devices that have performed better in the metrics that matter to me. Mainly, they turn on and work. The CCs are picky about which cables and power sources will work for each device, and each update has me hoping my devices won't be wrecked again.
The Q (after replacement from the update fiasco) is by far the most reliable using batteries. And the QR scanner is the easiest method I've used. Scanning the Q screen using any of my cameras sucks though, so I always end up using a micro SD card anyway.
I just want to send out some long term experience to balance the hype. They're cool, but you're paying for an experimental device that may or may not work well. They're a lot of fun and have many cool features IF you know that going in. I just don't think the marketing reflects that. And they're being advertised as "open source." They align more with "source available" in my opinion, but the term open source has been muddied these days. It's a minor point for me since I can see and compile the software myself. The firmware certainly isn't FOSS, if that matters to you.
Overall, if you can afford to tinker, buy a Q. If not, consider something else.

Needless to say, this works on any Browser and any app that runs JavaScript and can display webviews inside of it, including some Nostr apps.
Issues like this are why Amethyst doesn't display Twitter preview cards and play YouTube videos: they all need JavaScript.

How do Facebook and Instagram apps track what you do in the browser, even in incognito mode?
Meta apps start a local server on the phone and keep it running in the background. The Meta analytics script, running on most websites, pings any "localhost" server with the anonymized tracker ID for that session. The app then associates the browser ID with your Meta account, and voilà, all your browsing history is now linked to your Facebook account.
Android is designed to block such things, but Meta found a workaround using basic Sockets and transmitting the tracker ID in the initial handshake of a WebRTC (voice call) request. It's genius and evil as fuck.

People are everything. From my perspective every network that tries to scale faces the same three challenges: getting good people together, helping newcomers break into established circles, and keeping out the value-suckers and disruptors. This is hard, nobody has cracked it yet.

after seeing some success on nos.lol's filtering, i just changed nostr.mom write policy as well and now it is same as lol. in the future i want to make mom's policies stricter. the WoT still starts with women on mom.

Bundeskanzler Friedrich Merz erklärte bereits am Freitag kategorisch zu dem Überfall auf Iran: „Wir bekräftigen, dass Israel das Recht hat, seine Existenz und die Sicherheit seiner Bürger zu verteidigen.“ Wie aus einer Vielzahl von Stellungnahmen bekannter Völkerrechtler hervorgeht, ist ein Präventivschlag nach Art des israelischen Überfalls auf Iran allenfalls erlaubt, wenn er einen überwältigenden Angriff verhindert, der unmittelbar bevorsteht und anders nicht abgewendet werden kann. Dies war hier nicht der Fall; zudem befand sich Iran in laufenden Atomverhandlungen mit den USA. Auch die gezielte Tötung iranischer Atomwissenschaftler sei völkerrechtlich durch nichts zu rechtfertigen, konstatiert ein US-Experte. Verschiedene Bundesregierungen von Rot-Grün bis zu einer Koalition aus Union und FDP haben in der Vergangenheit Verbrechen enger Verbündeter gedeckt, so die Verschleppung von Terrorverdächtigen in Folterverliese durch die CIA oder US-Drohnenmorde in aller Welt.
