I was interested in photography NFT's for a while (as a hobbyist photographer). There were some really great photographers, the kind that would spend days, sometimes months, to capture and produce an amazing photograph, start to see real returns for their talent and skill with NFT's, where previously only a small percentage of fine art photographers could make a decent living. If possible invest in a 3 stage (or more) water filtration system. Have a "go bag" ready. In case comms go down (cell internet) have one of those cheap old school battery powered radios. A simple emergency medkit, at least alcohol, betadine and cotton.
Spain had a recent blackout, 2-3 weeks ago and they were mostly a cashless society. So they had problems withdrawing, etc. They also had a lot of terrifying fake news. For some reason people like to share bad news during times of calamity. An example of the fake news in Spain during the 24 hour blackout was - the Russians were invading! Which did not seem plausible but nevertheless was used by unscrupulous individuals.
When comms are down, have a designated meetup point if your family is all around. The primary residence is ok, but if circumstances force you to abandon, have a secondary safe space that everone should know prior to any emergency.
We have grown so reliant on the internet that losing it seems to have "blinded" many on how to go about without it.
