Neben der Forderung nach einer „Aufarbeitung“ der Coronapandemie (auch in Form einer strafrechtlichen Verfolgung der für die Schutzmaßnahmen verantwortlichen Politikerinnen und Politiker) wurde versucht, staatliche Klimaschutzmaßnahmen, den russischen Angriffskrieg gegen die Ukraine oder die angebliche Gefahr einer staatlichen Totalüberwachung der Bevölkerung durch Digitalisierung als mögliche Schwerpunktthemen zu implementieren."

Ever tried migrating one? They're often absolutely gigantic, full of procedures and complex views and classes (tables), and function as de facto interfaces for myriad other applications.
And you usually have to migrate in production, or run it in parallel with the new one, for months.
And for little gain, other than decreasing your maintenance work by increasing the chances of joining the AWS 7-hour outage.

Happy to hear any suggestion to get around the simple fact that spam will always be rampant when new profiles can be spun up for free and messages can be saved to servers for free with the expectation they will be seen.
You either need to be purposeful about limiting who can put posts in front of your face or you will have spam. There's not really any way around that except to hand that responsibility to a central authority.

check the node page on the alby hub. there you see channels, on chain balance, etc.
if a channel is closed for whatever reason it means that the funds become onchain available again. (lighting is the second layer to transact instantly)
that 0 is the spendable balance in lightning.
I know it’s sadly still more complicated than plain onchain or some custodial service that does it for you or some service like paypal…
but that’s the properties of lightning. all has upsides/downsides.

you see the details on the node page.
and you get an email notification because you enabled those about events of your wallet. interesting that you think the sender controls this.

You talk about different things here. Channels and Alby Hub are completely related. Channels can be closed in any lightning node - this is the basic concept of lightning and also important to make sure you and the channel partner are in full control.
Alby Hub integrates some LSPs but Alby does not provide any channel services.
If your channel was closed you can check with the channel partner. Or you're free to open a channel to any node that you like.

In one sense, your entire outbound liquidity constitutes your wallet balance, and you can do transactions directly from this balance using Ride the Lightning under Lightning>Transactions. From the Payments tab in that interface you will have a "Send Payment" button at the top where you can paste in a lightning invoice. If you pop over to the Invoices tab, you can choose "Create Invoice" to receive sats to your lightning node.
You will see your "Local Capacity" at the top of the page here. That is effectively your "wallet balance" if you are using your entire node's outbound liquidity as your wallet. It's also where any routing fees you receive will "go." Routing fees are really just the difference between the amount of sats you receive and the amount you forward to the next hop in the route, so you won't see a transaction amount in your wallet for "10 sats - fee income." Instead, you will see it in the Reports section of Ride the Lightning.
Now, I would not recommend using your entire liquidity as your "wallet." One reason for this is, the balance will fluctuate. This is due to your node calculating how much it would cost to close the channel on-chain at the current fee rate. Instead, I would recommend using a sub-wallet with a balance that is a portion of the total outbound liquidity.
Use something like Alby Hub or LNBits to create this sub-wallet. Alby Hub is probably the most user-friendly, while LNBits is probably the most versatile. Then connect the sub-wallet to a wallet app like Alby Go or Zeus via Nostr Wallet Connect. The easiest way to have a lightning address connected to it is to connect the wallet to an Alby account via NWC.
