Heute geht es mit Lilly wieder zum Tierarzt. Die letzten zwei Tage zieht sie sich sehr zurück, reagiert aggressiv, wenn Luka ihr zu nahe kommt. Mal gucken was der Doc sagt.
Dafür, dass uns vor zwei Jahren gesagt wurde, dass sie nur noch 6 Monate hat.. Hat sie uns gezeigt, dass sie lange moch nicht gehen will. Mittlerweile hat sie doch sehr abgebaut.

It's always a good idea to sleep on a major feature, for a day or two. And then rework it and push. You'll keep thinking about it and notice edge cases you didn't handle.
Once you push it, it rarely gets worked on, again, within the near-term future. You just push it and move on to the next feature.
That's why the broken stuff on here usually remains broken. Nobody wants to dig that old shit up and rework it. They've moved on, mentally.
The "Just ship it, bro." people don't realize that this is how humans actually are.

Used the provided pricing, yes. I assumed that Nosflare uses the same set of indexes (NFDB supports composite indexes, I do not think Nosflare does) and based it off of Nostr.land’s read amounts.
The CPU time was not too relevant, with a huge chunk of it being D1 read costs.
I won’t get into the fact that D1 is probably one of the buggiest products to come out of CF

And I need to add more fields to the search filter, itself. It currently just filters for title, but it should also do author, the three dates, date ranges, tags, a bit of fuzzy and absolute logic, normalization of terms, etc.
And I need to handle sorting cases where a publication has multiple authors. I think it's just displaying the first in the array, or set of tags, and I don't know how to include the others in the sort. Or if I should just ignore them and they have to be found over the search bar.
We have some like
["author", "John Smith", "Tony Stuart"]
and some like
["author", "John Smith"]
["author", "Tony Stuart"]
Both seem valid, to me, but in both cases, I just use John in sorting.

Thanks. So I needed to upgrade my alby hub, and yeah, I can create a subwallet, and I was able to connect, their amethyst client to it, but to your point, they cannot receive zaps, because they don't have a lightning address. I'm curious because I connected my alby hub through my start nine node and I don't remember paying anything for getting a lightning address

Also nochmal zum Mitschreiben: Es gibt ein Gesetz, dass für nicht deutache Bürger erlaubt andere niedrigschwelligere Regelungen anzuwenden.
Nochmal kurz: Es gibt ein deutsches Gesetz, dass Menschen nach ihrer Herkunft anders behandelt.

I'm just saying that a minimum necessary data approach would be a lot better than where we are now. Most of the KYC stuff is unnecessary and forced though. But some of it would be necessary regardless in certain cases.

The proliferation of clients and mini-clients has fragmented users to the point where there is no point in having more than 30k followers because everyone posts but very few interact.
Or at least that is my personal opinion.

technically.. the you can't part isn't true. if you are running follower account calculations, you can look at relays that are paid/wot to get a far more accurate number.
remember, nostr.band is not nostr. and counts and charts are just data that you or your client is sourcing for your own purposes

Yeah man, was gonna say ZEUS still has too much friction. Even on the receive side, you have to open the app to redeem.
Couple other good options:
1. Yakihonne provides an NWC-enabled Lightning address in its app. Just gotta log in with Nostr to set it up.
2. https://lnwallet.app is the quickest — literally just click the create wallet button. You immediately get the Lightning address and NWC connection string if I’m not mistaken.
As we know, they’re both custodians with varying levels of reputation so proceed accordingly. 🤙

I am halfway through my tutorial series, "The Android Elite Setup," in which I walk the reader through setting up a source for Nostr apps and other open-source apps on Android (nostr:npub10r8xl2njyepcw2zwv3a6dyufj4e4ajx86hz6v4ehu4gnpupxxp7stjt2p8), Amber signer app, a Nostr client (nostr:npub142gywvjkq0dv6nupggyn2euhx4nduwc7yz5f24ah9rpmunr2s39se3xrj0), a zapping wallet, Pokey for notifications, and Citrine relay.
I was planning to use nostr:npub1h2qfjpnxau9k7ja9qkf50043xfpfy8j5v60xsqryef64y44puwnq28w8ch as the wallet for setting up zaps, but given multiple recent challenges with Coinos, I am considering switching it out for a different wallet.
Should I instead put nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 (with the new eCash support for those without a self-custody lightning channel just released in version 0.11.0), or perhaps nostr:npub1kvaln6tm0re4d99q9e4ma788wpvnw0jzkz595cljtfgwhldd75xsj9tkzv, or should I just continue as originally planned with Coinos, since it is still the most straightforward option? Other suggestions are welcome, as well.

the issue is the created_at unix timestamp lol. it's from 2048. what client did that? odd that relays allowed it to be so far future dated.

I now use Debian with cinnamon desktop environment.
Lately Mint have introduced some disgusting bugs where the entire desktop environment disappears and needs to be re-installed.
