Whenever I choose solve an problem instead of taking a know and lesser alternative solution, I find it takes min 4x max 12x the time or effort to accomplish on average.
Often you will stumble across completely new solutions for problems you didn't know you had in the process, making it almost always worth it in the end.
Interestingly I find the best solutions don't try to fix the problem but only flip the perspective. Making the problem the key feature that was missing.

BepiColombo : sa vitesse maximale est estimée à environ 60 000 km/h (16,7 km/s) lors de certaines assistances gravitationnelles, bien que cette valeur fluctue selon les phases de transfert vers Mercure.
Mariner 10 : elle a atteint environ 47 000 km/h (13 km/s) lors de son survol de Vénus, une vitesse optimisée par une assistance gravitationnelle pour rejoindre Mercure.
Perseverance (mission Mars 2020) : à l’entrée dans l’atmosphère martienne, la vitesse était d’environ 39 000 km/h (10,8 km/s), résultant d’une trajectoire interplanétaire directe.
Cassini : lors de son arrivée près de Saturne en 2004, elle se déplaçait à environ 34 000 km/h (9,4 km/s), après plusieurs assistances gravitationnelles (Vénus, Terre, Jupiter).
Voyager 1 : actuellement en espace interstellaire, sa vitesse par rapport au Soleil est d’environ 61 200 km/h (17 km/s).
Voyager 2 : elle poursuit sa trajectoire à environ 55 300 km/h (15,3 km/s), également dans l’espace interstellaire, mais à une vitesse légèrement inférieure à celle de sa jumelle.
New Horizons : lancée en 2006, elle a atteint une vitesse de 58 500 km/h (16,2 km/s) au moment de son survol de Pluton en 2015. Elle détient aussi l’un des records de vitesse de lancement depuis la Terre (~58 000 km/h).
Juno : lancée en 2011 vers Jupiter, elle a atteint environ 265 000 km/h (73,6 km/s) lors de son insertion dans l’orbite jovienne en 2016, grâce à une manœuvre gravitationnelle autour de la Terre et à l’accélération gravitationnelle intense de Jupiter.
Ces vitesses maximales sont atteintes lors de phases critiques comme les survols planétaires, les insertions orbitales ou les périodes de plus forte accélération gravitationnelle. Elles ne sont pas constantes sur toute la durée de la mission : les sondes ralentissent ou accélèrent en fonction de leur environnement gravitationnel et de leur trajectoire.
Les chiffres présentés ici représentent donc des valeurs de pointe, souvent les plus spectaculaires, mais pas nécessairement les vitesses de croisière moyennes.
