Ou seja, só 1 em cada 10 homicidas enfrenta alguma punição efetiva como cadeias…
Esse cenário mostra o colapso da justiça estatal: o monopólio da violência, altamente ineficiente, burocrático e incapaz de proteger vidas. Em vez de priorizar a segurança e responsabilização de crimes reais como homicídio, o Estado brasileiro gasta recursos reprimindo pequenos delitos, crimes sem vítima e impostos, enquanto os assassinos andam livres. Um sistema mais descentralizado e baseado em justiça privada, contratos voluntários e segurança local talvez fosse muito mais eficaz.
