Maybe key migration? But even then, it seems like that would be better served by a method that explicitly does that.

I didn’t answer your first question, so here it is, in case you’re still confused.
NIP-01 defines 10000 <= n < 20000 as replaceable (i.e. referenced by nevent) and 30000 <= n < 40000 as addressable (referenced by naddr).
Both are technically “replaceable” as an action.
When “replacing an event”, you are just publishing a new event with the same “d” tag (if it’s kind 30000 <= n < 40000) and kind number, and clients/relays are expected to recognize that the one with the latest timestamp is the “new version”.

i personally get tired of the endless release announcements
i'm starting to unfollow people who post or repost them way too often
if their release tempo on brand new products is that fast, is there any chance that these are quality?
my first feeling is of inadequacy, but realistically, they can't possibly be stable or even hardly tested.
the pressure to ship is a real plague for quality
