Comparing scribbles on a bank note to spam on bitcoin is bizarre, comparing apples to oranges. Scribbles on a bank note do nothing to affect its functioning, while excessive spam absolutely affects/would affect bitcoin’s functionality.
Calling monetary maximalists “perfectionists” is another bizarre comparison. Wanting to keep bitcoin for monetary use over arbitrary data storage use has nothing to do with perfectionism.
Appreciate your concern for UTXO bloat, it’s real. But thinking that spam had its “peak” is misguided imo. Perhaps you haven’t seen the spammers chomping at the bit to have OP_RETURN limit removed, OP_CAT and a slew of other op codes added? Just like there was a spam lull in late ‘23, they lay low for a while and then return with force when they have some new way to fuck the timechain. Thinking scammers are done with bitcoin is exceedingly wishful.. (I hope I’m wrong and you can say I told you so!)
Bitcoin transactions will eventually outprice JPEGs *if* bitcoin still works.
At the root of this whole issue is miner centralization, so perhaps we can agree to work on supporting mining re-decentralization as ultimately critical to bitcoins long-term sustainability (and that will help take care of the spam issue as well)?

Talking to frens and neighbors. Listening local radio stations, preferably those of universities or cultural associations. Walking the neighborhood too, flyers and notices all around the urban landscape; sometimes over actual physical boards, wooden or metal made, coffee shops and libraries often have them. Newspaper stands would never leave but nowadays I think magazines are having a comeback after some cool down due the internet boom.

When it comes to taking investment to expand Peony Lane, I'm torn.
Financially, the upside is clear and the downside is pretty low.
The sacrifice is life.
Do I want to go hard for the next 10-20 years and come out very wealthy or do I want to make a decent living, have more time with my future family and come out as wealthy as Bitcoin determines.
I'm torn between what I want out of life and both would be pathways of growth.
Anyone have experience with this choice?

En todo este verano solo la vi en mi instituto/recreación del colegio/insti de la eso y el nuevo centro, la ultima vez que la vi en sueños, fue en la ventana de un edificio abandonado, la veía en la ventana con una máscara, comiendo aunque no se le veía nada de la cara incluso se puso una peluca.

Anoche estaba soñando, no recuerdo mucho, pero si lo suficiente, estaba en un avión, con mi madre y un señor, y yo jugando a la nintendo swith, y repasando el mapa mundi, cuando llegué de repente estaba en el instituto, en el coleguio en infantil, y con un disco duro, mirando archivos como si fueran mis recuerdos de infancia, entre la multitud estaba ella una chica anda con juguetes de mi infancia, charlamos de ello, y de mi infancia, parecía conocerme, charlamos hasta que sonó el timbre, subí las escaleras rápido y el sueño se terminó.

We put together a formula for calculating entropy based on the location, taking into account the population and estimated number of POI.
We used this formula as a guide for calculating entropy based on an ideal scenario (relatively spaced out in areas with high POI) which gave us around 26~ bits of entropy per location.
There's no guard rails on the hackathon version besides a minimum distance required between points, so you could easily foot-gun yourself. Future versions would include a real-time estimation of entropy based on locations picked, or alternatively a predefined "location list" similar to a word list, but with memorable locations (which can be selected at random).
