I anticipate that within the next few years, the US will implement legislation exempting Bitcoin used in everyday business transactions, from purchasing goods & services, from capital gains taxation.
However, Bitcoin that is sold on exchanges & converted into fiat currency or stablecoins will likely remain subject to capital gains taxes.
This regulatory distinction would incentivize the use of Bitcoin as a monetary asset rather than a speculative one, fostering its adoption as a medium of exchange.

Hmm. I am not sure about that. I host my own server, but yeah it must do some dialing home. Might have to look into that. I don't think it has any knowledge of what I watch though.
