Awesome! 🙌 Looking forward to it. Regarding the feed, it would be a simple thread view of the note that the person replied to. So like this, but just the original note being replied to and the reply. This way, context is visible without needing to click into the thread. Of course clicking either note would then expand into the entire thread.

Veilig Verkeer Nederland baalt van 'levensgevaarlijk' fietskunstwerk
Veilig Verkeer Nederland (VVN) is niet blij met een nieuw kunstwerk in Veghel van een jonge vrouw die fietst zonder handen aan het stuur. Volgens de verkeersorganisatie gaat het 3,5 meter hoge kunstwerk ten koste van de verkeersveiligheid.
"Het beeld laat geen veilig verkeersgedrag zien, zonder handen fietsen is levensgevaarlijk. Dat doe je maar in het circus", zegt Willemijn Pomper van VVN tegen Omroep Brabant.
Het kunstwerk maakt onderdeel uit van tien fietskunstwerken langs de snelfietsroute tussen Veghel en Uden. De werken zijn in opdracht van de provincie Noord-Brabant gemaakt en moeten inwoners aanzetten tot vaker en veiliger fietsen.
'Aanzetten tot nadenken'
De provincie zegt dat kunstwerken er niet zijn om het goede voorbeeld te geven. "Kunst is er om aan te zetten tot nadenken en de omgeving te verfraaien. Daarin heeft de kunstenaar uiteraard de vrije hand gekregen", aldus woordvoerder Roy van der Lee.
Daarnaast zijn op de andere negen kunstwerken van Florentijn Hofman 'veilige' fietsers afgebeeld, zegt hij. "Iedereen die wordt verbeeld heeft de handen aan het stuur, sommigen hebben zelfs een fietshelm op."
De Fietsersbond in Brabant maakt zich geen zorgen om het beeld van het meisje. "Dit gaat echt niet zorgen voor onveilig fietsgedrag. Kunst gebaseerd op de werkelijkheid staat los van de werkelijkheid", aldus Aad Smid.
'Vrijheid'
VVN is het daar niet mee eens. "Het moet niet zo zijn dat de kunstenaar alle ruimte krijgt ten koste van de verkeersveiligheid."
Volgens de verkeersorganisatie moeten de gevaren van fietsen zonder handen aan het stuur niet onderschat worden. "Je hebt nul controle over je fiets. Als kind doe je dat weleens, want het is gaaf. Maar het is aan volwassenen om uit te leggen dat dat niet de bedoeling is. Met losse handen kun je niet meer remmen."
Alle kunstwerken zijn gebaseerd op inwoners van Meijerijstad. Het meisje is afgebeeld zonder handen aan het stuur omdat ze "fietsen associeert met vrijheid en blijheid", zegt provinciewoordvoerder Van der Lee.
