Then they take the portion of the interest paid to the central bank and spend that too.
If any citizen happens to collect interest on the debt, they have to pay them up to half of it in taxes, and they use that toward paying interest on more loans.

It was cool seeing the OG nostr:npub1r73gmgu7rjstdwuskshn9ztj9rrdrprl5y435yrmtc9qtq4ausfqr0v7zy crew together in the #UnbankedMovie trailer alongside all those household names.
We just showed up from the streets back in 2022 with our crazy idea of running a local meetup, and a few months later a documentary crew asked to do some interviews.
I’ve been a bit on edge to see how it all came out, but so far it looks fantastic. I hope I didn’t say too many stupid things that made it into the final cut.

A couple dumb assumptions here:
1. That diseases are necessarily curable. Many are treatable, but its pretty hard to reverse biology.
2. That treatments count for nothing if they can't 'cure' a disease.
Medicine is very young when you consider how recent the majority of meaningful advancements are. We are basically just getting started. My father was born right around the time emergency medicine became its own specialty. I help save many people from things they would have just died from less than 100 years ago. Far less in some cases.
And we use products and treatments from BiG pHaRmA sometimes. It isn't as simple as just curing things. There are many parts and most things will never be cured solely by a pharmaceutical company.
Cures are awesome, but they aren't the only option lest everything else be damned.

This is really exciting stuff. Google released a diffusion language model. The speeds you can get with this type of architecture are absolutely nuts.
It's also good to see AI labs experimenting with different architectures. I have worried for a while that perhaps AI development has fallen into a local minimum and we didn't investigate other approaches deeply enough. Perhaps Transformers aren't the absolute best architecture for language models. But if you iterate on a substandard solution long enough it might be possible to outdo other approaches that won't be as good initially but would eventually lead to much better results if pursued long enough. Narrowing the search space too soon and only focusing on Transformer-like architectures might mean we might miss out on better solutions. Trying other architectures expands the search space.
